New Yew Sang is a typical coffeeshop which serves various hawker food during the day, but when the sun goes down, it turns into a Thai restaurant. We came by here for dinner one day as we always passes by this restaurant.One of my many favourite seafood dish is the fried calamari, and therefore I ordered it.
I liked that the fried calamari were very crispy, in fact it was very hot when it was first served we had to wait for a while more to it to cool down. The calamari were chewy and delicious, especially when dipped into their Thai chilli sauce which was both sour, spicy and sweet as well. All in all a good dish to have.
