Served with half boiled egg at the center, seaweed, spring onion and Japanese mayonnaise on top. I've never experience an egg on a pizza, so we thought that "Hey, why not try it out?"Without further a due, after snapping some photos, we started eating like Bear Grylls. The crust was quite thin and crispy. It is not as thin as the one served in Dominos, but its still thin. The teriyaki chicken inside was cooked perfectly. It was tender and full of flavour. There was also caramelised onions inside
Without further a due, after snapping some photos, we started eating like Bear Grylls. The crust was quite thin and crispy. It is not as thin as the one served in Dominos, but its still thin. The teriyaki chicken inside was cooked perfectly. It was tender and full of flavour. There was also caramelised onions inside which gave it added sweetness. The whole pizza tasted really sweet as compared to regular Italian pizza.
Do not be fooled, the pizza may look small and tiny, but it was rather heavy, especially with the help of the egg. The egg plays the important role of minimizing and balancing out the sweetness of the teriyaki sauce and the seaweed and spring onions acts as vegetable to give it that freshness. Overall, the pizza was really flavourful!
I know some of you may not like sweet pizza or even think that this pizza is 'fake'. But hey, its Japanese pizza right? Even the American pizzas are different compared to the Italians. Do give it a try, highly recommended!
