It was 3 o’clock but the Char Chan Teng still packed with lots of people. There were many choices from the menu, from snacks to mains to desserts. It is always hard to make decision when you are hungry since everything looks good to you. Finally I ordered herbal-stewed rice (MYR 10.50).

The rice was steamed in herbal soup until cooked. The soup was flavorful with natural sweetness from wolfberries. The minced pork and ginger did make a good matching to the soup.

The only complaint was the service crew did not bring me cutleries when the food being served.
