I'm usually not a fan of curry noodles - because the curry is usually greasier than it is flavourful, and has little else to offer; but once I tried the curry mee here, I was converted.I would say this has to be THE BEST curry noodles anywhere (there are different types of curry noodles, so I'm referring to this particular type). The curry is hot and full of spice flavours, and also moderately spicy. I would say this has to be THE BEST curry noodles anywhere (there are different types of curry noodles, so I'm referring to this particular type).

The curry is hot and full of spice flavours, and also moderately spicy. Fried wantons (3 per serving) are crispy, even after sitting in the curry for a while (they soak it up very well, adding to the flavour) - the juicy pork filling is generous. The char siew is chunky and roasty (as opposed to silky and sweet), and it is served with cockles (optional), bean sprouts, long beans, and mint leaves (some would consider this a garnish but it's one of the major ingredients for me - balances out the curry taste). The noodles itself are curly and springy - gives it a bit of a chew (which I think works for this curry mee).

Portions are generous and would satisfy very well especially on a stormy morning. If I'm not mistaken, they don't open past lunch.
