I think peanut cream filling goes really well with the hotcakes. The cream tasted creamy and smooth but although it has a nice sweet taste, I did not find the cream tasted like it has peanuts except that it was rich and dense. Perhaps that is how it was meant to be with just a hint of it. The hot cake's crunchy skin made each bite quite a delight when the cream and cake flavours mixes. It tasted mildly sweet but the custard has a milky taste that is additictive. This really makes a good snac
