OK initially I wanted to go to Coffee Amo in TTDI but my friend wanted to take a walk around the shopping mall. So I suggested Publika as I wanted a coffee place and wanted to have coffee for so long. There were about 3 tables occupied at that time. I was so excited when I reached this place especially when I saw the classic decor. I am always attracted to classic decor and ambience. Sorry I was so focused on my friend's conversation that I forgot to take a picture of that retro corner. Ok I admit I wanted to pose in front of it but there was a family sitting on the table in front of it. Now let's get to business. I ordered the Turkish Baked Egg (RM 24) which came first. The verdict? Urm the combination is a bit weird and it looks organic. I just simply ordered it because the waiter recommended it and said it is the most popular now. So this dish consists of a strange combo of Turkish baked egg with salami, quinoa salad, beef meatball & poppy stick. Firstly, I did not like meatballs but forced myself to finish it in order not to waste food. The poppy stick is not really to my liking. The baked egg loses to the one at Frisky Goat which has the best ever, not that I have tried a lot of this. The quinoa salad, supposedly, according to the waiter, is made of onion roots (do I hear an "ewww" out there?), some sago like stuff. Anyway, if you are an organic food fan, then this is your thing. The salami is ok just that the egg is not runny enough and has hardened, thereby for egg fans out there, you might want to prevent disappointment by opting this out. My friend ordered the Chicken Brochette (RM 24) was quite ok but a little normal. It consists of tender grilled chicken on top of salad and also lightly toasted bread. The chicken is not bad. All I can say is that you need to be able to handle the messiness to be able to eat this as my friend ended up spilling everything on the table! As for drinks, I ordered the Mochatalla (RM 14.90) which was actually mocha freezed cubes inside one quarter of mocha. Next to it is a mug of cold milk to be poured inside the mocha. The result? Amazing and better than the one at Coffee Stain as the coffee is thicker. I totally love the after-effect of this. Also, in Coffee Stain, the soyabean milk is kinda of too thick and diffuses the coffee taste.

Spaghetti aglio olio means spaghetti with garlic and oil, but this rendition of the dish seems to be lacking both. So, that just makes it more spaghetti than aglio olio. Effectively, it's too dry, and the chicken was scarce. Unimpressive but not terrible.

CoffeeSociete is located at Solaris Dutamas. It is a restaurant that offers different types of coffee, cakes, and dishes. Some examples of dishes offered at CoffeeSociete are halzenut latte, red velvet cake, piccolo, societe quick-seared lamb, and so on. I had tried Aglio Olio served by CoffeeSociete. The taste is good and delicious. The appearance of the dish is also considered attractive.

Beginning with the texture, it has different unique elements to help create that chewy-ness. I could taste meat, carrots, potato, pastry etc. Furthermore, the sauce was pretty salty and it complimented the pie very well. It kinds reminds me of eating another form of lasagna. Overall, loved the flavour and texture of the cottage pie that one was simply not enough.

一杯long black是喂不饱我的馋嘴鸭鸭的呢！所以最好也来了一杯比较特别名称的咖啡呢！以上这杯咖啡，如果没有记错的话，好像是叫做“chai coffee”呢！如果喝了long black或是expresso的话，喝这杯就有点不习惯的感觉，因为这个是比较重奶味的呢！
