The famous Taiwanese cuisine is here! Before i go to food, i must praise for its service for kids -- i think Ding Tai Fung is the most suitable restaurant to go if you have a baby/toddler going out with you! They will bring you highchair and place it properly and bring the kid cutlery set with a cup of water for the little one. This is a very thoughtful service which i do not see in many restaurants. Come to the food. Ding Tai Fung's signature food is the soup dumpling, but my favourite is the yam dumpling. There are quite a lot of dumpling choices besides the two. I also like its Dan-Dan noodles, simple hand made noodles with sesame sauce; while my husband's favourite is the fried rice. Besides the main course, we also tried the chicken soup. The portion is not big, just nice for a person, the base is pure and clear, and it's tasty. The salted egg pumpkins and layered cake also taste good, worth to try on the list. As for drink I like the fresh soya bean drink, not too sweet but very smooth. In short, the food is simple but tasty; the service is top-one. This is a regular restaurant that my husband and i visit. We love the banana leaf set, with simple few vege dishes, papadam and lots of rice (you can ask for more!) that "flooded" with curry gravy. The curry is quite spicy, but it's always the perfect match for the white rice and papadam. The vege dishes are not the same each time, sometimes three dishes, sometimes four. These vege are such as pumpkin in sweet spicy sauce, cucumber salad, fried bitter gourd, fried eggplant, and green leafy vege, to name but a few. We normally order extra dish like fried fish, fried chicken or curry fish. Personally i prefer curry fish than the deep fried dishes, as the deep-fried are oily. Restoran Abirami is located on a busy road, but there are plenty of parking lots behind the restaurant. It's a half open and the ventilation is good so you won't feel so hot. The place is clean. The workers and waiters are friendly, and the food price is reasonable. It has other varieties of food like roti, nasi, but my favourite still banana leaf set. The restaurant is not a big one, hidden in the Amcorp Mall, is quite famous among the Japanese. The part that i like it the most is the variety of set meal menu, you can choose from noodles to rice, chicken or beef or pork or fish, soup or not; prices starts from RM20 and you get a main course, desserts, starters and free flow of green tea. You think it's too expensive No, because the portion for a set meal is big and definitely worth the money! Furthermore the food are authentic and tasty. I like the ramen soup. The soup is sweet and nice. Service is good, and the place is warm and clean. But don't go on Sunday as there is a busy bazaar every Sunday, which can cause difficulty in finding parking lot. There are many doughnut chains in Klang valley, but Krispy Kreme is my favourite. Its doughnuts are big and filling, and has many toppings to choose on. I like the original glazed and New York cheesecake the most. It also has themed doughnuts for festive season. For instance, in this Chinese New Year it has the doughnut that looks like an orange (it is so cute), and the doughnut in shape number "8" (prosperity). If you think the doughtnuts are too sweet and too big for you, try the mini. The size is not too big so you won't feel guilty. Besides doughnuts, it also offers various drinks (hot and cold), sandwiches or combo meals. Extra bonus, if you are a Bcard member, you can collect the points here! Recommended Dish(es):

Pontian Wan Tan Noodles is famous for the "red sauce" - the tomato sauce as the gravy. But that is one of the choices, you can choose from soy sauce or the mix of soy sauce and ketchup too. Back to the tomato sauce, why I remember watching from TV show that this creation was kind of a fusion between western style and eastern style, and which turned out to be an attraction. The smooth and sweet tomato sauce give the wantan noodles more juicy kind of taste. Although its main attraction is wantan noodles, on the menu you can see a lot of variety, from fried rice to bread toast, and hot tea to dessert. The one dessert that really excited me is the Tau Song (Split Green Bean Sweet Soup). This dessert brings back a lot of childhood memories. Not fancy Tau Song Then you can also try the melon coconut sago soup, red bean soup. The restaurant is quite colourful where the tables and chairs are painted in different colours, but it is quite clean. The waiter and waitress are friendly, and they serve quite fast. In a nutshell, it is a restaurant that suitable for all because everyone can choose the different dishes they want from menu, for lunchie or dinner.
