Crispy Chicken
Deep fried chicken is wonderful dish in a row where it is fried until golden brown where it offer a crispy crunch on the outer layer while the meat inside is juicy and tender. The only thing I wish they could do is to remove the bone so that I can munch without hassle. Anyway, the chicken is very well marinated before being fried and it is rich in flavour and is really finger licking good (assuming you're eating with your bare hand tongue).

Fried Banana
One of the special dessert here is their Fried Banana with Ice Cream. The dish is made of fried banana wrapped in dumpling skin instead of flour and is served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream shower with chocolate syrup and sprinkle with a generous amount of chunk nuts. To eat you mix both ice cream and the fried banana together for a combination satisfaction from both hot and cold world. The dumpling skin does add on to the crispiness of the friend banana and is very unique indeed.

Hokkaido Cake Smile Jul 25, 2012   (Related Review)

Hokkaido Cake
If you're ordering the Ramadan set when dining here, you will get these Hokkaido Cake inclusive in the set menu as well. The hokkaido cake is soft and fluffy on the center where a punch of cream is located and had a mildly hard texture on the surface where it is dusted with snow sugar. Every bite is extremely addictive and satisfying and one isn't enough. Although Alicafe is no pastry specialist, I'm very impress with not just the taste of this cake but also the texture and satisfaction of it.

Pak Choy OK Jul 25, 2012   (Related Review)

Pak Choy
Alicafe Tiga Rasa Restaurant actually serves dishes with Chinese and Malay cuisine combined and that explain how some dish reassemble familiarity and he Pak Choy is one good example. It is a pretty simple dish where the pak choy is steamed and serves with chef's oyster sauce and sprinkle of fried garlic. The sauce to my surprise wasn't as salty as the Chinese version and is enough to bring the flavour where kids would also enjoy it. The portion is also quite small as this is suppose for serving of four.

Omelette OK Jul 25, 2012   (Related Review)

Omelette
The omelette is the biggest let down in this restaurant is the omelette / scramble egg. The omelette is quite thin in layer and had a crispy edge when hot, while the center part is a little fluffy. There are sliced onion, spring onion, and red chilli in it, the spicy from chilli actually boost the appetite as it offer localize flavour to the diners. The portion of this omelette is quite small too considering this plate is serving for four. But do eat it will sauce from other dish and it would create a totally new taste to your mouth.
