Tokyo Gyudon. Beef rice with hot spring egg in Tokyo style. I don't eat beef, so I had my boyfriend to give comment, and he said that it was good.

Roast Katsu. Deep fried pork cutlet. This was an additional order with 50% discount if the following set dinner for two was ordered. It was harder than expected, which I guess I would love it if a little improvement is made. I was hoping it to be juicy and tender, yet it was so dry and indeed, I got tired of biting.

Onsen Tamago Caesar Salad (Half). Caesar salad with hot spring egg and pork bacon. Since it came with the dinner set, it was supposed to be smaller than the normal portion, but I thought it was still the normal portion. I have never ordered the one with normal portion. Such saying occurred because honestly, almost half of my stomach was filled with these vegetables although I shared it with my boyfriend. Nevertheless, it was delicious. The egg yolk could have been too raw for me if I were to consume it alone. By mixing it together with the vegetables, it became surprisingly yummy.

Salmon and Maguro Carpaccio. Mix salmon and tuna carpaccio. This was entirely for him. He commented that it was nice as always, except that he couldn't tell the taste of the greenish sauce. He thought that it was weird.

Tonpeiyaki. Pork, cheese, cabbage, egg. Compared to Roast Katsu, this was so much better, softer, juicier, and it's definitely fattening as well. Its texture felt like a meaty and cheesy version of takoyaki, if you get what I mean. It's difficult to explain. You must try!

Ten Zaru Soba. This is mine! I got addicted to soba ever since my previous experience with the same outlet, so I ordered it this time and had it all by myself. The level of me loving it is definitely not explainable!

Maccha Ice.

Chocolate Ice.

I thought their ice-creams would be the usual Japanese ice-cream. It was such a turn-off when they were served on our table. Instead of serving them on a glass container, they were served in plastic containers. Anyway, the sides were filled with ice whereas the ice-creams were found in the middle of the container. Personally, I didn't quite like the Maccha Ice because of its lack of maccha taste. If I were to be required to choose one, I would go for Chocolate Ice instead, although it was slightly too sweet for my liking.

We got a discount of RM30 because his birthday is near, which explains the amount of food we had consumed that night. It was a mixture of disaster and happiness. My experience was still good though, in terms of environment, services, and food! I will definitely return again.

lol

This was my second experience with this cafe and its Hot Caramel Macchiato. Although I always left the cafe with a body full of the smell of cigarette due to its smoking area located on the upper floor, as long as I am not inhaling it directly, I would not mind returning to the same place again and again for a cup of coffee once every two weeks to a month.

I love the environment. It's simple, and decorated in the kind of style that I have always fancied. The services provided have always been satisfying and I have absolutely no issues with the friendly waiters. My friends and I enjoyed being in the cafe until midnight, when they were about to close.

I love the Caramel Macchiato too. The top was decorated with caramel and cream. I stirred it after sipping some coffee, so that the sweetness would melt and mix together with the hot coffee beneath the layer of cream, and drink it bit by bit until when we were about to leave. The coffee wasn't strong, but it wasn't light either. I thought it was perfectly fine for me to drink during night time.

I definitely can't wait to have my third visit again someday!

Delicious Durian Puffs Smile May 10, 2015

One of my favorite places to go especially in the afternoon when it's scorching hot! It's very difficult to stuff the whole puff into my mouth, so I always have to carefully bite some parts of it to make it slightly smaller before stuffing it into my mouth. Love it when the puff burst inside my mouth, DURIAN!
They have other flavors like dragon fruits (sometimes), nangka, and yogurt too, but durian is my most preferred choice. All the time!

Ramen Izakaya Kazushi Restaurant in Mont Kiara is obviously a Japanese restaurant, famous among the Japanese, which explains why only Japanese (usually men) were seen during our visit, and we were the only odd ones. Its location wasn't really bad, as long as you manage to get to the area.

I wasn't prepared for a food review though, so the information provided about the restaurant would not be sufficient. :\

There was Katsu Curry Rice, but mine came without curry and with pork and cabbage instead, recommended by one of my friends, Rou Han. You must definitely give it a try! The pork chop was so crispy. Rou Han, the greedy girl, snatched a small part of it as soon as it was served. My stomach was literally bloated long before I finally finished my meal because of the portion served. These are exactly why I will be sure to return again one day.

Ramen Izakaya Kazushi Restaurant has a very interesting challenge for the big eaters. You will be given a choice of noodles or what I had, served in an extraordinarily huge bowl, which the amount will be equivalent to approximately four times of what I ate. If you manage to finish everything from solid food to the sauce or soup within half an hour (if I’m not mistaken), the bowl of food will be free. Otherwise, prepare to pay RM90.00 for it.

I’m certainly waiting for someone to challenge it. lol

P/S: The only fact that I dislike about the restaurant is that smoking is allowed indoor.

Don and I went to I Love Yoo at The Gardens approximately four hours after our brunch, for a lighter meal. We love food, and we greedily love food. We preferred I Love Yoo to the other restaurants or food stalls because we have heard positive comments about this particular outlet from my aunt. Since we were right at the place, we thought, why not?

I dropped their set meals and ordered a bowl of Tou Foo Far, or Tau Fu Fah if that's what you prefer, at RM3.30. It was finely done, to the extent that I literally cleaned the remaining syrup, which I don't usually do. I had my favorite You Tiao at RM1.60. Its crispiness was the boom!

The prices may be twice as expensive as those sold at the roadside stalls or morning markets, I just couldn't resist the deliciousness.

Don ordered Set B that came with Soya Bean and You Tiao at RM4.30. So much for having a light meal! He even added a Butterfly Bun at RM1.60 just because he thought it was too little, which he then swept aside such misgiving and regretted later on. By the way, Butterfly Bun is just a sweet version of You Tiao.

Do I need to elaborate more on the taste? Trust me when I say that you need to personally give it a try. Their smoothness and crispiness just simply make me drool!

Without comparison between I Love Yoo and any random roadside stalls, a light meal at Mid Valley Megamall or The Gardens at RM10.80 was considered affordable. I acknowledge that there are quite a few outlets that serve bad food, but I will be sure to return to this outlet again should I drop by the mall someday. My aunt was right, this place is highly recommendable indeed!
