Sizzling Chicken ‘n’ Ham

Thinking to take the road less taken by the round tables diners of fried chicken, so I go for the dish of Sizzling Chicken ‘n’ Ham that arouses my curiosity. The chicken chop is grilled and served on the sizzling hot pan, before drenched with thick savory gravy that resembles mushroom sauce. Chicken meat is tender and coupled with a tangy slices of ham to go along. On the French fries part, no doubt I always love them, same goes to the green peas too. If only there are some butter cubes to go along with the bread, then it would be better. Else, the bread by itself, does taste bit dry lol

Chicken Cordon Bleu

Wow, looks like my favourite is back again! Initially I was thinking to have fish cordon blue instead, but how on earth do I know that it has been sold out so fast! Therefore, ended up with the chicken variety instead. Well, I would say not too bad as the stuffed ingredients in the chicken meat is actually quite compact and soft. You can taste the slices of ham, cheese and chicken meat distinctly, though I would prefer a more blended mixture as the one by Mizi Bistro, so to thoroughly enjoy the oozing cheese lol

Chicken Chop

We welcome the most basic fare of western food; Chicken Chop by James Foo. At once glance, I actually thought it’s an order delivered mistakenly for it resembles Hainanese Chicken Chop to me. Later do I realize that this is the style over here as there is no specific indication of how the recipe going to look like. Nevertheless, the chicken chop is pretty well done. Crispy on the outside while remains tender in the inside. Some savory sauce has also been added to reduce the level of dryness of the dish. I wonder could I change to black pepper sauce the next round for better kick lol

James Foo Western Food

Guess it is another branch of this newly open chain of Western food, ‘James Foo Western Food’. As always, the shop is always full with throngs of crowds from all walks of life. The restaurant is actually pretty well lit with bright yellow colours. It has indoor dining as well as al fresco style, depending on your preference. Table setting is chic and casual, while being livened up with the many delicious painting of the food hanging on the surrounding. Quite a nice and comfortable place to hang around at this new neighbourhood at Four Seasons with delectable Western food to whet your taste bud.

Tau Sa Pia

Dad would always remember and never fail to grab this Penang famous delicacies whenever am coming over. Although this product is not from the commonly known existing big names, the Tau Sa Pia is actually pretty good, if not better, I feel it is much fresher as the filling is very light and powdery. None big traces of onions are detected and thus the biscuits taste pleasantly with the aroma from the beans. This shows that the biscuits are indeed freshly baked.
