Well, there was this one afternoon that am not longing for any savoury meal. But instead, I went to get some dessert to tame my unusual craving, lol.

Seems to be my first time to actually try out cakes selection at Bread Talk, Pavillion KL.
This Hazelnut Sensation came in few layers of chocolaty sponge, with some hint of hazelnut taste, though not that apparent. Humbly garnished with one almonds to add some nutty feel to it, besides spicing it up a little bit. Not too sweet by the way.

 

Besides serving good quality of gourmet coffee, Artisan Roast does offer a spread of decent pastries to delight your sweet tooth. Amongst them would be the Pecan Cake. It is full of nuttiness that is very additive indeed! A hint of light cinnamon is detected too Or if you wish for something a bit on the citrusy side, then could try out the Lemon slice, but this is without cheese along. Muffins and the chocolate cakes are convincing too, for some richer indulgence. Slurps!

Elizabeth Fine Dining, or yeah?

Upon entering the this place, you would firstly be awed by its lavish setting and classy chandeliers. The route leading its way to here itself is already pretty nostalgic with various items on display such as the Big Boss Shanghai Car, sitting just next to Elizabeth Fine Dining.

Environment wise, is quite airy and cosy, though it’s bit packed when crowds are seen. As for the table d'hotes, choices are decently and actually more bewitched by its artistically painted plates! Taste wise, frankly speaking, is just meagre to me, albeit the fact that the concept portrayed is of fine cuisine genre.

Cheerios…….

Another red velvet sensation is in the air, at Souka Bake Shop, a vibrant and dainty bake shop.

Over here, one gets to choose from various bakeries with Red Velvet being one of the famously sought after. The cake itself is buttery and fluffy. Rather moister than those taste elsewhere, but could be quite filling to be totally cleared up by own self Best to go along with a good cup of coffee too.

Having said that, the other sweet tooth teasers such as the Mars Cheesecake and Hazelbut tart seem pretty convincing too.
 

Hooray, eventually am visiting here to have a taste of the long awaited treat, after hearing it from mouth to mouth of their delish food array.

Nice and cozy environment do help in attracting the throngs. Bust most importantly the food served must be good and fresh. The various European fares seem good to go for me, especially the melting Egg Benedict of Norwegian. Comes appetizingly with smoked salmon, capsicum and onion confit,, it is ideal to go with perfectly poached eggs pair, topped off with Hollandaise sauce on a lightly toasted bread. I really enjoy it darlingly!

As compared to the French O, unless the omelette is much more flavoured and intense with the cheese taste as depicted, parmesan and cheddar, it is bit bland to us, even with the addiction of cherry tomatoes and ripened capsicum.

Latte and tea are good and makes the perfect companion. Nothing to complain about.
