BASIL PASTA HOUSE Smile Oct 23, 2015
Categories : Italian | Restaurant | Pizza/Pasta

Recently has seen many new establishments sprouting up particularly at this suburb near
Cheras, namely Kuchai Lama. You would never get boring and hungry as you stroll along he square here which boasts an interesting potpourri of cafes and restaurants to fill your gnawing tummy.

Having said that, there is one shop particularly intrigues me the most as far as its brand name is concerned. Me, for one, really relish in dishes that comes with basil herbs, be it in the form of pizza paste, pasta sauce or just the fresh herb itself. The fragrance is simply refreshing and my mom even plants it at home to ensure it’s pesticide-free (= So yeah, the café in the picture is none other than The Basil!

Been in operations for nearly 10 months now, Basil certainly lives up to a luxe dining experience at a truly affordable price to the folks around Kuchai Lama. Why do I say that? Mainly because of its niche and unique crafted menu that largely revolved around truffles goodness that is incorporated into most of their signatures and served at a reasonable price. This comes naturally as the maestro of the kitchen, Chef Alven, who came from the exquisite culinary background of none other than French- a culture that places high emphasis on food appreciation. The interior décor is chic and elegant in its own with the warm setting of lamps and dark wooden furniture, somewhat contrary to what any passerby would expect from the humble exterior, so it’s another pleasant surprise!

Let’s not get too carried away with the soothing ambiance and start off with some delish appetizers, shall we? (=CACCIUCCO- TUSCAN SEAFOOD STEW (MYR 11.90)

Roma tomato stewed with salmon, mussel, squid, garlic, onion, fennel, cherry tomato crostini and lemon oil

COZZEALLA TARANTINA- WHITE WINE MUSSEL (MYR 12.90)

The French inspired moules marinieres- sautéed black mussel in white wine butter herb sauce with toasted bread. Love he garlicky kick (=

INSALATA CON FUNGHI (MYR 10.90)

Confit of Portobello mushroom served with rocket leave, shaved parmesan cheese, cherry tomato, balsamico and basil infused olive oil

Back to the classic!

PESTO GENOVESE (MYR 17.90)

BLACK TRUFFLE LINGUINE PAN SEARED US SCALLOP AND PRAWN BISQUE (MYR 28.90)

Linguine sautéed with onion, white wine, black truffle paste, served with caramelized US scallop, prawn bisque and a dash of cream.

The sizeable scallops are terrific- huge and fully packed with juices, grilled to slightly burnt at the outer edge.Sink your teeth across this sea treasure and enjoy memorable sweetness oozing throughout your palate.PORK BACON AND TRUFFLE RISOTTO (MYR 22.90)

Carnaroli rice cooked in white truffle sauce, cured pork ham, seasonal veggies, parmesan cheese and white truffle oil

CAPPUCCINO (MYR 8.90)

100 % Arabica coffee bean from Brazil and Sumatra blend, served with carrot biscotti

BELGIUM CHOCOLATE LATTE (MYR 9.90)

For those who wanna stay caffeine-freeSomething really special here- from its flavoured ice cube category.

BERRIES STRAWBERRIES (MYR 7)

Served with iced cream soda

SIGNATURE MILLE FEUILLIE (MYR 14.90)

Phyllo pastry layered with pastry cream, served with mango, black grape, Champagne grape, US strawberry and vanilla ice cream

Light and crispy to the last bite, delish!

All in all, this is a recommended place to visit especially for bon vivants who enjoy truffle’s unique aroma as well as enthusiastic foodies who wish to explore and have more exposure about this treasured earthnut from southwestern Europe. In my personal opinion, the addition of truffles somehow really accentuates the flavor of each ingredient and hence, enriches the taste as a whole resplendently.

Cheers for now and Carpe Diem! ❤ℒℴѵℯ❤Location: No. 21, Jalan Kuchai Maju 6, Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park, Wilayah Persekutuan, 58200 Kuala Lumpur

AHOY CAFÉ  Smile Oct 23, 2015
Categories : Western variety | Café | Sweets/Snack | Desserts

It came as a pleasant surprise that another commendable café has sprouted up at
the SS15 neighborhood of Subang Jaya recently, joining the current brisk bandwagon of the raving coffee places around Klang Valley.

Ahoy Café started its operation early February this year and has been gracing the folks nearby with homey, comfy food as well as good brew of house blend coffee. As depicted by its name, Ahoy (a common term used for hailing ships), somehow or rather, it does emit the beckoning aura attracting more attention from curious people around.Embarked with a sailor-themed interior décor, one could expect some playful embellishments of the various curios that surprisingly harmonize with the abundantly natural-light filled surroundings, making it one of the best places for shutterbugs who enjoy photographying tiffins.

Ahoy Café serves up a fairly large toothsome menu, from sandwiches, light bites to pasta, confectionary and coffee. All of which are very delicious and added with inhouse touch as some of the accompaniments are freshly made from scratch.

For their ‘Sandwichlicious Bites’, customers could choose from either bamboo charcoal bun, multigrain panini or bagel to pair with their preferred fillings. For us, we decided to try out that special and intriguing coffee marinade.

CAFFEINATED SMOKED DUCK MYR 16

Espresso marinated smoke duck salad, fresh tomatoes, sliced onions with homemade cranberry sauce.

Served with assorted salad greens like green coral and cabbage, cherry tomatoes and fries. If you taste the smoked duck deliberately, there will be hint of light smokiness hovering between savory bitterly(due to the espresso marinade) but not too overtly. It would be a case of acquired appreciation and guess I still enjoy my usual smoked duck more (=Or if you are up for some bagel delights.

SMOKED SALMON BAGEL MYR 19

Smoked salmon with cream cheese, purple cabbage, rocket leaves and pinch of capers

Awesome interpretation of ploughman's lunch, where the dejeuner is still adequately loaded with the essential nutrients a body needs to kick off the day.

As for their ‘Pastariffic lasagna’, they really came up with a mouthwatering pasta-free fare indeed.

CHICKEN BOLOGNESE LASAGNA MYR 17

Minced chicken in tomato sauce, layered with cheese, pasta sheet and homemade basil pesto sauce.

The picture doesn't really justify it. It was actually a decent nosh-up and a satisfying one. The whole combination was very flavourful, not overly cheesy nor cloying with the pasta sheets which usually hinder me from ordering one. But for this recipe from Ahoy Café, I have no qualms to go for a second helping, nom nom……

Perhaps some lighter grubs you might ask, then give the candidates of ‘Wrapmmy Treasures’ a try.

THE ULTIMATE WRAP MYR 18.50

A taste of Korean with American twist where East meets West.

Kimchi, mayonnaise, cheese, fresh tomatoes and turkey ham are all delicately enveloped within the tortilla wrap.

Served with assorted salad greens like green coral and cabbage, cherry tomatoes and creamy mushroom soup to complete it healthily.

Caffeine fix of course!

LATTE MYR 12

GREEN TEA CAFÉ LATTE MYR 12

A terrific marriage of both worlds, East and West! The subtleness of the green tea liberally blends in well with the espresso shot leaving behind a smooth aftertaste trail. I personally love it very much!

Now finallly, we have come to the must-have session, desert!!

BROWN ICELAND MYR 16

Truly an indulgence for chocolate lovers! Remember to enjoy it fast as it tends to melt off pretty quickly.

BITTER CHOC MYR 12.90

Couldn’t love the velvet chocolaty nuance more, and the best part is it’s not too sweet.

3 IN ONE MILLE CREPE MYR 11.90 (Consists of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry)

Some interesting twist to these French pastry, with some berries to add some fruitiness and citrusy to it.

MUSANG KING DURIAN MILLE CREPE MYR 11.90

Only one word to describe it if you are a fan of this King of Fruit, AWESOME!

Each layers of the crepes is bountifully spread with the pungent but engaging laces of the fruit itself. Truly an indulgent moment!

If you are looking for a cool place to chill out and relax with your buddies, Ahoy Café is one stop you should leave your footprint. Have a casual and fun catch up over a cozy and luscious tête-à-tête session. A place where you find the satisfying combo of the below:

Cheers for now and Carpe Diem! ❤ℒℴѵℯ❤

LA CAFE MEMOIRE Smile Oct 23, 2015
Categories : Western variety | Café

Would the memory of your coffee experience be vividly captured as it names suggest? Well, I might not have tasted all the interestingbrews  here, but one thing for sure, dining moment here is wonderfully immortalized into the “heartdisk” memorably.La Cafe Memoire which initially embarks as a dessert-centric café at TTDI since 24th November, has now introduced an array of noteworthy hot dishes, also coming from the same chef-cum-owner talented maverick, Brian Liew, who helms most of the operation and logistics tasks- from interior designing and furniture constructing, to crafting the menu as well as churning out the delicious dishes. This does not come much as a surprise as Brian himself is a firm advocate of originality and he even makes his own fettucine. His frequent working trips to Japan has vaulted his appetite and led to more R&D at his kitchen, experimenting various potpourri available here in order to create an ever tantalizing plates of hearty grubs delivered freshly to his café patrons.

Japanese-inspired pasta. Interior décor is kept to minimum and simplistic but added with some vintage and rustic touch to it. Huge chalkish menu board grabs your attention after entering with cozy ambiance ensues later.

The café is divided into 2 sections, air-conditioned enclave upon stepping in from ground flour and al fresco area to cater for smokers. It’s pretty humid that afternoon when we dropped by but couldn’t help as it’s also the area where bounteous natural light is available. So, just switch on the table fan and enjoy the natural flow of air.

Luckily the zesty thirst-quencher come to rescue.

LIME AND SOUR MOJITO (MYR 14) A refreshing blend of mint leaves with chilled soda, lime, light rum and ice cubes. You could never go wrong with any mojito, especially in a sultry day (= It uses Vaccari (28%) instead of the usual rum, togeter with asam boi to sweeten it up. Don’t be surprise that it gonna easily fools you into thinking it’s just an ordinary mocktail.

CAPPUCCINO (MYR 7.50)

Lovely cuppa to fix your cafein craving. Aromatically smooth with aftertaste robustness from the blend of Tazmania and Columbia, pleasantly medium-dark roasted and all coffee here are served double shot.

Or some cold brew for the purist that has been dripped for 24hours! Love the clear and clean profile.

SMOKED DUCK SALAD (MYR 9)

Mixed salad served with slices of smoked duck, cherry tomato citrus orange pulps, cucumber and cheese with drizzles of balsamico reduction added with house dressing that is made of apple vinegar and other secret recipe. The smoked duck is undoubtedly the star-stealer for its uber juiciness and perfectly done- flavourful and succulent. Indeed a great and appetizing starter.

PORK CHOP (MYR 25)

Ardent meat lovers would relish in this- huge slab of pork chop that is nicely grilled and marinated with assorted spices which includes Mongolian herbs(5 flavours spice), served with sweet potato. The German imported meat also comes with a good proportion of lean meat- good news and I love it!

Having said that, the side accompaniment somehow outshine the main. The mashed sweet potato tastes stellar and literally steals the limelight away from the poultry (= It is totally a brilliant idea to have substituted the common mashed potato with this equally promising sweet potato paste- freshly made from scratch into a smooth orangey puree, and enriched with fragrant herbs. Mixed with butter, Chinese parsley, onion and pepper, they all work out really well. The picture might not justify it but trust me, the taste is simply great.

SMOKED DUCK WITH BACON SANDWICH (MYR 12.80)

Bacons and smoked duck hand in hand sandwiched between wholesome artisanal bread, tomatoes and cheese, what else could you ask for?

Double the joy, double up the fun!

Lusciously juicy smoked duck slices!

JAPANESE CURRY PASTA (MYR 14.50)

Savoury curry spaghetti inspired from the Land of Rising Sun, partnered with tender diced meats, carrot and onion to make up a scrumptious meal. Or you could also opt for the homemade fettuccine version at just MYR 17.50.

The curry gravy actually has been incorporated with red wine, so recommended to go for beef over chicken meat instead for such pairing would accentuate the wine taste wonderfully.

CREAMY BACON PASTA (MYR 14)

Laces of inviting and tender pork bacon, garlic and mushroom, tossed with handmade al dente fettucine with light sprinkles of herbs. Unlike the usual carbonara, this plates by Brian comes in an ideal portion, not too creamy nor overly cloying, but still tasted light to the palate and the inhouse produced pasta contributes better texturized nuance.

Soon, essentially the soul of the establishment comes greeting us, dessert!

TIRAMISU (MYR 9) Moist homemade lady’s fingers that are soaked with coffee liqueur and topped off with lots of nutty caramelized bites! It tastes exceptionally toothsome as the cream cheese is added with brandy, hence collaborates interestingly with the well-soaked horizontal flat sponge with liquor.

Still hankering for more additive bites? Here you go, presenting you another savory type of ice cream.

NUTTY BACON SUNDAE (MYR 11)

Tangy flavor fuels by kalamansi sorbet at the base, layered with vanilla ice cream and finished off with caramelized mixed nut, caramel sauce and crispy bacon. It’s a playful twist hovering between sweet-savoriness that at one point reminds me of those Chinese smoked meat, a.k.a. “yuk kon” that usually eaten during Chinese New Year.

An awesome marriage- lemonade sorbet and vanilla ice cream, easily get you hooked on to the citrus tanginess for more!

CHOCOALTE SOUFFLÉ (MYR 15)

For chocolate lovers, hot-from-the-kitchen Varlhona Chocolate Souffle, comes fluffily baked and served with raspberry sorbet. Made entirely of Varhona Choc and egg white with appropriate sugar amount, it’s so irreproachably and pleasurably executed.

Only one caveat, remember to sample this delicacy once served for it will sink down pretty fast, in split seconds and leaves you dumbfound. So to avoid such surprise, do take note. And I really, really love the raspberry sorbet so so much!! It complements the indulgence precisely!

The raspberry sorbet is just heaven! Fruity and tartly delightful!

So in a nut shell, does it live up to our la café memoire thing? Am glad that it’s affirmatively encouraging that we went back with happy tummies and the sweet memories still lingering on. I’ll be missing the smoked duck salad and creamy carbonara for now, but I’ll definitely be back again! Meanwhile, do remember to give this café a check out guys!

Cheers for now and Carpe Diem!

Foodies in search for a true gastronomical modern Italian affair, can now look into MICHELANGELO'S as part of their epicurean radar. Located strategically at the al fresco dining piazza of Level 3, in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, guests are not only treated to a plethora of hearty Italian food but also look forward to feast their eyes aesthetically with its posh interior design, coupled with swanky furniture setting, and not to be missed, curios and replicas of the world-renowned artist, Michelangelo himself.

As the name implies, the concept launched at its flagship restaurant in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is an upscale casual Italian restaurant that offers an authentic Italian menu. Over here, diners can enjoy an elegant 5-star dining experience in a contemporary setting, ideal for both casual and formal occasion. Michelangelo’s famous painting of the Sistine Chapel’s “Creation of Adam”Michelangelo's kitchen is currently helmed by Executive Chef Paolo Pala, who hails all the way from Orroli, a village from the island of Sardinia in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea. With over 50 years of global culinary experience under his belt, that is garnered throughout his invaluable journey, Chef Paolo aims to introduce his style of real Italian comfort food to the local folks here by perfecting the dishes with ingredient-driven repertoire while staying true to Michelangelo`s philosophy- “Fresh food cooked simply, that’s what Italian food is all about”.

The restaurant projects an elegantly understated hue and decked out with cozy upholstered couch that is nicely embroidered to ensure the dining comfort of its guests. The presence of posters showing the images of the fine work of the famous Renaissance extraordinaire all over the restaurant is also an identity that will tell you are in Michelangelo’s establishment.

The newly introduced menu consists of all the classics that are loved by everyone including a wider variety of fresh salads and perfectly grilled fish dishes, home-made ravioli, risotto served from the Parmesan Wheel, Italian classic lamb dishes and of course home-made Italian desserts that savor the sweet tooth. By merely mentioning them, already gets me drooling again, hehe… So let’s have a look what are the illustrious dishes that you could expect from this full-fledged Italian revolution reminiscent of the renaissance theme.

ZUPPETTA DI MARE (MYR 28)

Mixed seafood soup in a spicy tomato broth, served with homemade toasted bread. Soup tasted appetizingly tangy, rich in herb aroma at the same time and completed with a light peppery hint. The huge prawns are really fresh and juicily sweet.

PIATTONE DELL’ATTESA (MYR 69)- SERVING FOR 2

Assorted cold cuts and grilled vegetables served with home-made foccacia bread. Perfect antipasto for some light nibbles while waiting for the entrée to come.

And i really enjoy having those olives fresh rather than pickled, and they goes really well with the buffalo cheese and tomatoes too, awesome!

RISOTTO POLLO FUNGHI (MYR 38)

Carnaroli rice served with grilled chicken cubes, mushrooms and parmesan cheese in mild creamy gravy that is so flavourful with the funghi aroma. Love the slightly chewy risotto texture that is cooked till 80% to attain that ideal classic nuance. Ma ma mia!

TORTELLI NERI GAMBERI, CALAMARIE MASCARPONE (MYR 45)

Homemade squid ink tortelli filled with prawn meat, squid and mascarpone in seafood marinara sauce. Each pasta parcels is thoroughly coated with savory sweet sauce to compliment the otherwise subtle taste of the ravioli-like skin.

MEDAGLIONI DI VITELLO AL FUNGHI (MYR 98)

Veal tenderloin medallions dished out in a creamy mushroom sauce served with broad beans, beef bacons and roasted potatoes.

One of my favourite plate and highly recommended hot-from-the-kitchen meal that is heavily loaded with freshly baked wholesomeness, hence form the highlights of Michelangelo's medley of passionately crafted dishes.

LINGUINI DEL PESCATORE (MY 39)

Linguini with tiger prawns, mussels, clams and squids woofed up with garlic, capers and olives the aglio olio style. The pasta is done al dente and deliciously enveloped with oceanic sweetness. Seafood lovers would definitely be thrilled over this recipe joyfully.

For the Le Pizza treat, we sampled SALAMI DIAVOLA (MYR 28)

A delectably baked bread with spicy beef pepperoni, olives, egg crumbs and mozzarella cheese, topped with aragula and tomato base.

As for the our dolce moment, we go with the recommended Italian classic.

TIRAMISU (MYR 21)

Traditional Italian dessert with sponge finger biscuits dipped in espresso liqueur, then layered between rich mascarpone cream and topped with cocoa powder. You can never go wrong with this indulgent delights.

And last but not least, finally time to clear down the throat after the scrumptious fete.

Fruity Mango Smoothies

Pinna Colada

In a nutshell, Michelangelo's is a relatively affordable Italian restaurant that brings a world-class experience in western dining, wining and snacking through a lifestyle of design and ambience. You could also drop by its second outlet in Soho KL, Solaris Mont Kiara, for a change of environment. Can’t wait to be part of the heart and passion of this Italian oasis? Remember to check it out soon.

Cheers for now and Carpe Diem! ❤ℒℴѵℯ❤Location: 3rd Floor, Pavillion Kuala Lumpur, 168 Jalan Bukit Bintang, Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur

BUBBA GUMP SHRIMP CO Smile Oct 23, 2015
Categories : Western variety | Restaurant | Pizza/Pasta | Steaks / Chops

“Ahoy! Here we are, at none other than my spectacular bivouac!”

Well, this might be the possible territorial exclamation by our amiable and distinguished Captain Gump (✿◠‿◠)

Yeah, as hinted, this round of gastronomical radar had led us to Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., that secured a spacious lot at Citta Mall, a friendly neighbourhood of Ara Damansara. It’s a family-friendly seafood chain that features sumptuous oceanic banquet at its best, as well as American cuisine that whet your palate gratifyingly within the cozy environment that embarks on a fishing-boat-themed setting.

There is even a colorful children playground set adjacently to keep the kids occupied and safe so the parents could enjoy the food worry-free.

Pretty interesting concept here- flip the signage on the board STOP FORREST STOP, when you want to place your order or whenever you need assistance from the staff, and RUN FORREST RUN, should you prefer some privacy. Various rustic curios and memorabilia from the movie Forrest Gump was seen adorning the restaurant interior. It brings back the vintage of the American good old days with the motley of nostalgic bric-a-brac of any US army camper.

The menu is extensive, showcasing wide selection of great options including fresh fish, salads, ribs, seafood and much more! We were very much anticipating the seafood especially shrimp feast and so, we kicked off the session by relishing in the appetizers like……….PEAR AND BERRY SALAD (MYR 30.90)

Fresh greens with charbroiled chicken, strawberries, pears and glazed pecans, all tossed together with raspberry vinaigrette and topped it with feta cheese.

It’s so fruity and fresh! That’s the immediate response I uttered upon savouring it.  Being not quite a salad person I am usually, this awe was actually kinda unexpected as the salubrious plate really came up well with the berries and fruity dressing. I love the sweetness from the fruit, especially the crisp pear, nutty bites as well as the delighting raspberry vinaigrette. Couldn’t help and I nearly going to ask for a second helping, haha. Delish! For the conscientious, bask in this perfectly done ‘berry-licious’ salad- definitely my kind of thing, slurps!SHRIMPER’S NET CATCH (MYR 32.90- 300G / MYR 63.90- 600G)

Touted as their best Peel ‘n’ Eat shrimp, juicy prawns are served on a fictional printed newspaper, resembling the era of the Cold War, faithful to the movie. Guest can choose from Bubba garlic spice or secret recipe Cajun spice, and diners are bound to hook on for more.

……………… and

BUBBA’S FAR OUT DIP & SHRIMP MAYAN SALSA (MYR 38.90) Chilled shrimp, cilantro, tomatoes, avocadoes, onions an chillies, all ‘shook’ up in a cocktail mixer and served with lots of tortilla chips and bubba’s far out dip for appetizing dipping.

I’ve never really enjoy cold shrimp, but Bubba Gump has convinced me since then! Good job ranger! =)

Each shrimp is thoroughly mixed with the salsa gusto in the cocktail shaker, oh yes, they use cocktail shaker! ^_^

Now we come to the Bubba’s

Shrimp Special!

SHRIMPER’S HEAVEN (MYR 49.90)

Love shrimp? Then this one is perfectly created for you!

Hand breaded coconut shrimp, garlic shrimp, fried shrimp, tempura shrimp with fries and of course, great dipppin’ sauces with tangy Asian, Cajun marmalade and zesty cocktail!

The coconut batter is quite special as it adds some sweetness to the shrimp, just that it could be tad oily to my liking withal it's uber crispy! Apart from that, the garlic shrimp tastes stellar, and hence, my fav pick smile

And what’s up for Forest’s Favourite then?

Let’s wait not more and sink your teeth into the tender-licious ribs!

BBQ BEEF BACK RIBS (MYR 46.90- REGULAR / MYR 66.90- LARGE)

Slow roasted baby beef ribs, served with fries and coleslaw. The meat is very juicy and succulently done till you could easily fork it off from the bones, it’s already good by itself even though we skipped the sauce, hmmmm……… simply luscious!Certainly poised as a tight rival to other ribs-centric restaurants, if not better, slurps!

BOURBON STREET CATCH OF THE DAY (MYR 38.90)

Charbroiled Cajun spiced catch of the day with bourbon street sauce and shrimp, served over mashed potatoes. The fish was really fresh and nicely herbed, and goes well with the tad creamy gravy. Not forgetting the fantastically grilled prawns that are simply addictive! Love the slight smokiness and spice, thumbs up!

Perfect interlude- Let’s welcome the Bubba Gump Cheer! New hand shaken cocktails
to spice up your seafood indulgence accompanied by the energetic performance by the lively FORREST runners!WATERMELON MARGARITA (MYR 23.50)

Jose cuervo tequila, orange liquer, cranberry juice, watermelon and sweet N sour.

Love the salted rim, nyummmm......

ORANGE MARGARITA (MYR 23.50)

Sauza tequila, red orange liquer, cranberry juice and sweet N sour. Love this concoction more than the former, personal preference by the way.

Isn’t that one of its kind? Indeed living up to the sheer spirit of the well-known vigorous Bubba Gump! Also, for an extra charge, diners could take this shaker glass home to share with your like-minded compatriot too (=

And last but not least, end the fete on a high note with this vibrant fluorescent glass, wow!

MANGO SPARKLER (MYR 13.90)

Mango, lemonade, orange juice and lemon-lime

SPECKLED LEMONADE (MYR 13.90)

With Strawberries or Blueberries as your choice

And foodies, mustn’t…… mustn’t leave without trying out their homemade desserts!

ALABAMA MUD PIE (MYR 24.90)

Perfect for sharing with cool  layers of chocolate and vanilla ice cream incorporate with chunks of snickers that are separated by ribbon of caramel, topped with chocolate syrup, whipped cream and crunchy peanuts.

Literally fell head over heels for this enticing piece of jewel. So toothsome that I decided putting my diet aside and savour it all by myself, hehe *evil grin*Well, as expected, essentially the mud cake was gone within few minutes, albeit we were all full to the brim after the seafood fiesta earlier. Guess it’s true that everyone does have an extra tummy for dessert, don’t you? ^_^KEY LIME PIE (MYR 18.90)

Indeed Mama’s secret recipe- the perfect finish for your meal. So authentically done with the quintessential lime tart taste that never fails to amuse your taste bud piquantly. You could actually mixed it with the whipped cream to mellow down the sourness, but I personally don’t mind tickling my eyes intermittently, you know, when you sampled real sourish grubs, haha.

Gosh, reliving the memories in my blog now makes me drooling and started hankering for Bubba Gump’s tempting and mouthwatering chuck again. It’s just the matter of time before seeing my footprint again at Bubba Gump’s camp soon. So remember to try out the promising Berry Salad and Beef Ribs amongst others besides the prawn-inundated recipes that gonna spoil you for more choices.Do check out Bubba Gump’s latest special set dinner menu priced only at MYR 39.90 nett, running from 16th June to 19th July 2015, inclusive of a main course, soup and drink, available across its 3 outlets at The Curve, Sunway Pyramid and Citta Mall.

Cheers for now and Carpe Diem! ❤ℒℴѵℯ❤
