Sunset Café

Sunset Café is one of the many leisure cafes available along the beach at Coral Bay at Perhentian Island. This particular café wows its guests with a splendid view of the crystal clear beach just in front of the place. It is very relaxing and you get to enjoy the cool sea breeze come brushing by your cheeks. Nice place to hang out with you buddies along with some 100 plus to keep yourself hydrated

Sirap Bandung

But for this sirap bandung, it appear quite ordinary. Comes in reddish hue that somehow does catch the attention of people You could taste the fragrance of rose and luckily, it is not too sweet. Pretty normal and I think would be better if some flaxseed were added to it to liven it up a bit I used to have such drink since earlier school days and find it actually quite nice especially when served chilled.

Teh Tarik

This is so far my first time of ordering teh tarik myself, hehe, as I couldn’t think of anything to drink that day, unless there is soya bean Reason being is am not a fan of sweet stuff, thus seldom in my food list. Anyway, for this time, I have specially requested for less sweetened condensed milk to go with. Thank god, they really tailored make for me I guess for it is indeed aromatic with the tea smell without being too sugary. Quite nice and there is also a thin layer of foamed on top of it, after being kinetically frothed by the chef

Roti Canai

As tummy isn’t really craving for heavy meal like noodle or rice in the morning, so decide to be safe by having a piece of normal roti canai. Widely known as common Malaysian staple breakfast, the piece of bread prepared here is considered not bad. Although I order the piece to be of original taste and without egg, I still get to taste the fragrance of a freshly pan-fried piece of bread. Glad that it is not too oily but comes with slight crisp on the outer layer. Of course, you may also dip with some curry gravy to spice it up.

T Café

It is my maiden and a wonderful trip to island out of the usual land I would be hanging around. So while on the way to Perhentian island before taking a boat from Kuala Besut jetty, we took some light breakfast first before heading so. The café environment is airy and open air. It is set up with several humble stalls and adequate number of table settings. Quite a number of people could be seen especially Western tourists who I suppose are vacationing at the island similar as mine too I think it makes quite a decent café at this small town with good and simple food.
