Teh Tarik

This is so far my first time of ordering teh tarik myself, hehe, as I couldn’t think of anything to drink that day, unless there is soya bean lol Reason being is am not a fan of sweet stuff, thus seldom in my food list. Anyway, for this time, I have specially requested for less sweetened condensed milk to go with. Thank god, they really tailored make for me I guess for it is indeed aromatic with the tea smell without being too sugary. Quite nice and there is also a thin layer of foamed on top of it, after being kinetically frothed by the chef lol

Roti Canai Smile Sep 03, 2013   (Related Review)

Roti Canai

As tummy isn’t really craving for heavy meal like noodle or rice in the morning, so decide to be safe by having a piece of normal roti canai. Widely known as common Malaysian staple breakfast, the piece of bread prepared here is considered not bad. Although I order the piece to be of original taste and without egg, I still get to taste the fragrance of a freshly pan-fried piece of bread. Glad that it is not too oily but comes with slight crisp on the outer layer. Of course, you may also dip with some curry gravy to spice it up.

Chee Cheong Fun Smile Sep 03, 2013

Chee Cheong Fun

At times, you would like to start you morning with some savoury meal but not too heavy. Then I think is good to go with a plate of Chee Cheong Fun then. I always love the silky and smooth texture of the flour skin, paired with some side dishes like bean curb with fish paste. The soya bean product is quite chewy, and I prefer to go with some flavourful sauce like Curry gravy, than the usual black sauce which is of sweeter flavor. Dashes of white sesame also helps to improve the overall flavor apart from some belacan.

Cheesy Wedges Smile Aug 28, 2013   (Related Review)

Cheesy Wedges

I suppose one would never go wrong by ordering this light snack, Cheesy Wedges. The wedges of the potatoes come pleasantly warm and soft. The slight crispy layer on the outside is being flavoured with some pepper, thus making it quite appetizing. Not to be missed surely is the accompanied cheese sauce; Cheddar and Parmesan, alternating between the white and orangy stripes. It is creamy and cheesy adequately. Standard level is met.

Colonel Burger  OK Aug 28, 2013   (Related Review)

Colonel Burger

As am not too keen on fried chicken, getting a Colonel Burger would be a good idea. But the burger at the Kota Bharu airport seems pretty funny, it comes really in a shockingly dwarf-sized! I tried once in Pavillion KL, the similar fare appear more decent, hmm…..Anyway, still have it without much complains as it is supposed to be merely some stuff to fill up the tummy before boarding plane. The burger bread is soft and fluffy. Chicken meat sandwiched between is tender, just like ordinarily. If more mayonnaise is being added, that would be better.
