Green Curry Chicken with Rice

I guess this dish is really synonym to this country of origin, Thailand! lol
There you go, Green Curry Chicken with Rice, hehe. But I dare not try as am not up for the authentic hotness of this spices, compare to those available in KL here, ahah. The one served by Tian Yian Vegetarian taste quite nice and not too spicy, but of course, this fare served here must have its selling point.

According to my friend, it’s bit spicy for the normal foodie who can’t take overly spicy food. But no doubt, the gravy is very think and fragrant that is full of the wonderful mixtures of herbs. The chicken meat is also juicy and blend in well with this dark-greenish looking thick sauce. The accompanied brinjals are cooked till soft and smooth. I think you could give it a try anyway, albeit the delicate portionlol

Pad-Kra-Kraw

Comes to tummy-filling time, hehe. One of the signature dishes recommended by chef is this Pad-Kra-Kraw. The name might sounds bit funny, haha, but important thing is it’s able to satisfy you gastronomically! lol

This set is a dish of minced chicken and hot basil cooked with fried egg and rice. I find the rice used is very fluffy and fragrant. But am not sure whether is it Thai Fragrant Rice for those are a bit not too cost-friendly to business owners right? ^^

As for the side dish, the chicken meat are sliced nicely and tender. Not too spicy but goes really well with the aroma of the fried egg. Just wish the portion could be more generous, hehe.

Café Latte

The Latte served here is quite an amusing sight though. Didn’t know that it comes along with some biscotti, which certainly reminds me of the cuppa I had at Petite Mille at One Utama.

The presentation of the coffee is satisfactory in view that there are serving fusion cuisines, so can’t expect much especially on the latte art part which is hardly visible, hehe. But I guess they are trying to draw a Rosetta design tongue
As far as taste wise is concerned, the coffee aroma is good to go and you may dip the crunchy biscuits in it for a buttery flavor. Just that I wonder why there is another serving of syrup, or sugar? Hehehe…

Chocolate Blended

As for the Chocolate Blended, the beverage is equally awesome, according to my friend’s feedback. With some touches of chocolate syrup on the top of the sinful creamy bed, the towering tall chocolaty drink is set to satisfy your sugary pangs! tongue

Jamaican Blast

Officially, this is my first embarkment at Seberang Perai, hehe. Thanks to my friend who drove me all the way here from Air Itam lol This spacious Jusco outlet does resemble the one located at Cheras Selatan in KL, with its elongated block design.

Before we resume our getaway around Bukit Mertajam, we decided to stop by here for some quick yummy lunch. And here we are at the Black Canyon Restaurant. It’s situated opposite Big Apple and serves delish Thai food alongside with Western fusion especially coffee.

Jamaican Blast

As blast as its name may suggest, this coffee does seem pretty unique though. It is deemed to be one of the most delicious and refreshing blended Black Canyon coffee that comes together with the whiff of Rum Syrup. The rum lends a hand in some coffee citrusy and these combination of sweet and bitter sensation, bring out the miracle of kaleidoscopic flavours, that are set to mesmerize the coffee snobs lol

Fried Koey Teow Smile Feb 19, 2013

Fried Koey Teow

This stir-fried noodle is definitely not to be missed, else you won’t live up to the maxim that you have just visited Penang! lol

Full of ‘wok hei’, this dish is served on a piece of banana leaf, the traditional way, as this would add to the overall aroma of this fried silky strips of noodle. ‘Lap Cheong’ in this menu plays an important role in lending some sweetness to the savoury dish. In addition, the prawns are very fresh and juicy, which is best enjoyed with crisp bean sprouts! Somehow, I fancy the bean sprouts in Penang than any other place, haha.
