Jawa Mee Smile Aug 19, 2013

Jawa Mee

Another fare that remains to top favourite of dad is this Jawa Mee at Super Tanker food court. According to that, this humble stall has been here for quite some time and yet, still being followed by trail of its loyal fans. Guess my dad is one of them then tongue Basically, the noodles are served in a plate along with the many fresh ingredients, before it is slathered with in house special savory sauce. The sauce is in light orangey colour with some light sourness. Coupled with sliced cucumbers, turnips. eggs, fried fritters and some squeezes of lime juices, it is actually quite appetizing, although the gravy could be tad mucilaginous lol

Char Mee Sua Smile Aug 19, 2013

Char Mee Sua

One would never be at loss thinking what to eat when you are in the land of Penang Island. Don’t belittle this normal market for you would be surprised to see throngs of people would be around for the food since early in the morning. As I just gotten back from Hatyai, before the next trip back to KL, suddenly there is a crave for fried food here and thus, a plate of fried vermicelli sounds good too lol It is fragrantly fried up with full of ‘wok hei’. The vermicelli is very springy, along with juicy prawns that comes with slight peppery taste. I guess it has the similar way of cooking the Char Koey Teow too, except that this is in the form of slimmer noodles. Now that it opens up one eyes that mee sua is not only taken when someone is under the weather but can be a great dish with some creative ideas lol

Ice Blended Pure Caramel

As for the friend who asked me to decide for him, so I called for the Ice Blended Pure Caramel from Coffee Bean. For him, I choose the coffee free range so that he could really enjoy the pure caramel beverage, and the whipping cream is excluded as well. Nevertheless, the cooling drink is still nice to go, with the candy fragrance from the caramel blending in smoothly with the cocoa mixture. It is not too sweet and done just nice. Still, I would prefer to go along with some whipping cream- my numero uno, to make it milkier, just the way I always love it, while enjoying the scenery comfortably through the glass doors lol

Double Chocolate Smile Aug 18, 2013

Double Chocolate

It was one of the relaxing noon nearby the beach where you could get a glimpse of the UBAH bird floating freely for your snapping purpose, that we stopped by Queensbay Mall for some cuppa first. Seems like the Double Chocolate made my day!

Came with a tall glass of chocolatey beverage, it was very rich indeed. You really get to taste the thick cocoa in it while gets smoothen out by the frothed mild on the top. Undeniably, the foamy layer helps to improve the overall enjoyment, but I think it would be way better if some cocoa powder is sprinkled as a good accompaniment to the milky topping. As I prefer my hot chocolate to be with coffee base, so there isn’t any marshmallow to be seen. Else, should I know earlier, I might opt for coffee-free then lol

Java Chip Smile Aug 16, 2013   (Related Review)

Java Chip

Another all-time favourite coffee beverage from Starbucks would be the Java Chip Frap, which remains the top choice at the hall of fame. It often come with some drizzle of chocolate syrup on top on the whipping cream. By the sight of it is already very tempting to take some slurps, although it is bit creamy lol But nevertheless, it is chocolatey too. As you sip from the bottom of the blended chocolate beverage, you then get to enjoy a much richer taste like mocha base fragrance.
