Aloha! Finally I found this long-spoken bakery one night after exploration on coffee world in the vicinity. Actually we are lucky enough to have located it correctly as we are purely based on guts since we never really venture into Sri Hartamas area. Glad that now we have a better and clearer picture of this newly found geographical gastronomy.

It has a cosy interior setting with nook area at the al fresco side, should you prefer some airy place and privacy. Well lit and warm ambience would be most welcomed to accompany you throughout your dining experience wonderfully especially at night with your bestie!

Overall, the food is scrumptious and value for money. If you’re not as professionally picky as a chef, this would definitely makes a good hang out place with kaleidoscope of dishes and dessert spread for you to choose from. As its name is bidding, we are surely looking forward to make another return trip soon.

Herbal Dong Gui Duck Smile Jul 08, 2013   (Related Review)

Herbal Dong Gui Duck

This is another good dish worth recommended. From the presentation, it’s quite similar to the typical chinese herbal soup, till you scoop down a little to reveal the treasure. The duck meat has been simmered till so soft that it could flake off easily from the bone. I think the chef must have controlled the flame very well while cooking it in the claypot. The herbal taste of the soup is really rich and full of chinese ingredients like ‘Yuk Chuk’, the elongated whitish strips, which is my favourite, that I find joy in munching them nutritiously.

Braised Pork Rice Smile Jul 08, 2013   (Related Review)

Braised Pork Rice

Wow! This is surely one of the best Taiwanese Braised Pork Rice that I have so far in KL. Not only the meat is so well marinated with the spices, the meat used over here is more to lean meat, compared to the original recipe which is more on the fatty indulgence side. Surely, those health freak like me would be pleased to add in another bowl lol The sauce that is used to braised the pork cubes is very savoury and appetizing, especially when taken with a bowl of white rice, with each grain is soft and of equal chewiness. The accompanied groundnuts are awesomely soft too as they too, have been boiled with the in house sauce that helps to infuse he flavor into them richly. Egg could be added at an additional cost at RM1 and it’s refreshing to be paired with some julienned pickled radish too. Fantastic!

Pepperoni Pizza

Finally, I get my share on this humble piece of Chicken Pepperoni Pizza! More often than not, I have to give this fare a pass as it usually made with beef pepperoni and me, being a non-beef eater has no choice but need to hold the drooling moment tongue

Anyway, glad that I could sink my teeth on it and enjoy it delightfully. The amount of cheese added is quite a lot and that already could spice up the cheese junky like me, hehe, and the chicken pepperoni slices are tangy and succulent. The bread base is decently thick and this not floury. The whole piece of bakery is nicely baked with the savory sauce of the sweetened tomato puree.

Chai Tea Latte Smile Jul 05, 2013   (Related Review)

Chai Tea

As we have never heard of Chai Tea under coffee menu, we call in for one to try it out. Else, the curiosity would definitely kill us, hehe. Alas, the hot beverage finally comes in a nice ceramic cup, but with a simple presentation; no latte art! tongue Even so, at least we get to know what Chai Tea really taste like. Basically, it’s a type of black tea that has history backs to the ancient Ayurvedic tradition of India. It’s aromatic in this way where milk has been added to it for smoother texture. According to a friend, this drink is good to be taken especially when you are under the weather for this would make a comforting drink apart from the usual Hot Chocolate.
