The mushrooming trend of Japanese restaurant one after another has been quite a dime a dozen scene nowadays. But what makes Yama G Fusion Sushi stands out from the rest?

Chef Yama San brings to you a one-of-its kind fusion sushi, seasoned with flavours from New York City, Caribbean, Texas (Houston), Los Angeles, Las Vegas to California, and now back to his motherland Malaysia.

It’s one of the rare Halal certerfied Japanese restaurant that you would find in Klang Valley that boasts an array of tempting and vibrantly curated fusion sushi to tempt the discerning palate of yours. Touted as the first fusion sushi in Malaysia and has been featured over 10 major dailies in the US, when Chef Yama San was in the States introducing this mind boggling sushi concept.

Having spending some great 25 years in the United States, Chef Yama San has been introducing and thrilling the mind of sushi enthusiasts abroad with its intriguing sushi delights prepared the unorthodoxly with a subtle French touch, that consistently receiving encouraging feedback from the Caucasians. The maverick maestro first started off its career under the guidance of a Japanese sensei- Michihiku Sakakuchi-san, who operates a Japanese restaurant in US back then. Spurred from a straight-out attitude with a fusion fundamental, Chef Yama San decides to reinterpret the culinary world with the unique eats of sushi served the fusion way, with homemade sauces over 20 types.

“New York is fast, so many nationalities and so much culture, making it so much more exciting. I noticed fusion restaurants becoming popular, so I experimented”, according to Chef Yama San.

Gone are the days where sushi is traditionally limited to be eaten with only shoyu and wasabi. Now let Chef Yama San travels you from New York city to Kuala Lumpur with his array of impressive culinary fusions- inspiring and guiding you through the road less (or never) taken by the conventional Japanese chefs, over a tribute of reveling in another level of battle between man versus sushi, where diners could easily ‘chopstick’ the sushi and pop into their mouth flavorfully and conveniently.

We started off with Chef signature appetizers such as……….

JENVIENE TOWER ROCK SHRIMP MARTINI (MYR 11)

Tempura shrimp with spicy creamy sauce, served in a martini glass with mango and avocado with Japanese mayonnaise, mango and eel sauce.

SALMON MARTINI (MYR 22)

Slices of Norway salmon daintily arranged at the martini glass rim, served with chef fusion wasabi sauce.

SEAFOOD MARTINI (MYR 22)

Tuna, white tuna and salmon slice in martini glass with chef signature yuzu wasabi sauce

Almost all the crafted dishes are finished with special eel sauce that helps to enhance the overall taste pleasantly.

Get ready to ride on a sashimi boat!

FUSION SASHIMI (MYR68- FOR 2PAX)

Maguro, shiro maguro, fresh salmon, sweet shrimp, hokkigai, oyster, tamago and 1 piece of fresh yellow jack.

When diners are done with the sashimi, they can request to have the yellow jack to be barbequed or made into fish soup, which both are equally scrumptious!

Love the slightly smokiness exuded from the grilled skin that is nicely glazed with sweet teriyaki sauce.

As for the soup, it reminds of our homey boiled fish soup with tomatoes that are light and nutritiously appetizing too. If your stomach still has space, do call for a bowl of white rice to go along, slurps!

For the purist, traditional nigiri sushi is also served alongside shoyu and wasabi.

SUSHI (MYR 28- 1PAX)

Sweet shrimp, inari, salmon, maguro, salmon maki, sweet shrimp sushi

For the more adventurous epicurean, get ready to be tantalized by these fusion sushi roll.

TEXAN ROLL (MYR 22)

Rolled with walnut, snow crab, BBQ chicken and cream cheese inside, with the outside are wrapped with deep fried potato strips and topped with mango sauce, homemade eel sauce and chef signature spicy mayo sauce.

MANGO WAIKIKI ROLL (MYR 15- FULL ROLL | MYR 8- HALF ROLL)

Fresh salmon, avocado, topped with mango and red tobiko with chef signature mango sauce and yuzu sauce.

TEPPANYAKI SET from MYR 8.99 onwards

Fried rice with black pepper, love the smacking good aroma that waft through the air as the dish gets ushered to our table. Love every spoonful of it, makes a good alternative than the usual garlic fried rice

Chef Yama San is one bon vivant who really values the simplest things in life. He appreciates every single moment what the beautiful world got to offer and believes in harmonious living holistically. He advocates the best way to enjoy this revolutionized flair is to “Close your eyes, enjoy sensuously without being confined to the traditions, and then another new level of enjoyment is borned”. Indeed remarkably inspiring!

How do you enjoy Fusion Sushi? If you are still unsure about it, drop by now at Yama G Fusion Sushi and feel free to seek advice and recommendation from Chef Yama San on how to best enjoy his creation of Eastern-meets-West. His passion will bring you across the globe accompanied with his experiences gained along his career.

Can’t wait to titillate your taste bud with international relishes?

Prices shown are as per ala carte order, otherwise, Ala Carte Buffet is also available at only MYR 102 nett. Have a gleeful epicurean journey and feast on enticing taste from New York city conveniently at Yama G Fusion Sushi today.

TIM HO WAN DIM SUM Smile Sep 29, 2015

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles | Dim sum | Desserts

Well known to worldwide as well as to the folks of Klang Valley as Michelin-starred Hong Kong’s most famous dim sum chain, Tim Ho Wan has been whetting the discerning epicureans around the world with its assorted luscious spread of freshly made Oriental morsels that are bound to get you hooked on for more after a bite.

Debuting since November 2014 in Malaysia particularly at Boulevard, Mid Valley, this Hong Kong dim sum restaurant has been thronged by many curious foodies for the Michelin-standard scrumptious dim sum. At times, you may need to queue for awhile in order to be seated due to the crowds.

Using only the freshest and premium ingredients, there’s no qualm that your taste bud would be amusingly tickled with toothsome banquet that is delivered passionately and deliciously by the maestro from the kitchen. The kitchen is currently helmed by Head Chef Tang Kam Lit who hails all the way from Hong Kong, together with Chef Hew Wai Leong, cooking up a storm to the anticipating diners.

Among the must-try signatures are………

BAKED BUN WITH BBQ PORK (MYR 11.50)

The idea of coating the bun’s exterior with some crumble of light sweetness was delectably promising, as it blends in with the savoury of the meaty filling. Apart from that, the thin layer of the dough bun was also fluffy and soft, thus diners need not worry feeling overly full after trying some.

STEAMED EGG CAKE (MYR 8.30)

Another spectacular house creation that every patrons ought to try. This seemingly common cake actually takes up to 3 days of preparation as natural yeast fermentation is involved, rendering a distinctive texture of pillowy-softness that is really mouthwatering and not sticky to your teeth after every munch.

VERMICELLI ROLL WITH SWEET AND SESAME SAUCE (MYR 8.30)

Unlike the usual chee cheong fun a.k.a rice roll you have elsewhere, the one prepared at Tim Ho Wan holds a much denser nuance, which makes it further more engaging to the enjoyment. The vermicelli rolls are slightly springier too, paired with brilliant creation of sesame sauce, so yeah, not spicy at all! (=

Don’t forget to try out the house special desserts before leaving Tim Ho Wan.

MANGO SAGO POMELO (MYR 9.30)

Tasted very original and refreshing with lush aroma of mango fragrance, as well as pulpy pamelo bits. I personally enjoy this very much.

TONIC MEDLAR & OSMANTHUS CAKE (MYR 7.20)

Ah ha, meet back the famous floral jelly dessert again- Osmanthus cake!

Every bite is full of the flower fragrance, complemented by hint of subtle sweetness, perfect for a delightful round up of a satisfying feast! Comes with tad bounciness and velvet to the palette with its silken surface.

HOMEMADE LONGAN (MYR 6.80)

Also some homey drinks to clear the throat too. I have always love the juicy and tangy bites of dried longans that just go really well when making ‘tong shui’, Chinese soupy dessert.

To further titillate your palate apart from their existing sumptuous dim sum spread, Tim Ho Wan has now introduced a new alluring taste for their Evening Specials running from 5pm – 10pm- “Tim Ho Wan New Seasonal Dim Sum”! This new recipes would cater those who prefer some carbo intake and having their staple favourites too while enjoying the dim sum.

Get ready to indulge in the new range of mouthwatering promotional menu from noodles, soup to braised pork and rice. These new line-up dishes are introduced to the crowds since last 28th August from its encouraging hit among the diners.

BRAISED PORK KNUCKLES NOODLES- DRY/ SOUP (MYR 19.80)

BRAISED PORK KNUCKLES (MYR 22.80)

Tenderly and thoroughly braised pork knuckles over long hours, resulting in a succulently flavourful meat with melt-in-your-mouth natural collagen! Slurps!

WONTON NOODLES- DRY/ SOUP(MYR 15.80)

SHRIMP WONTON SOUP (MYR 16.80)

A famous delicacy back in Hong Kong, this wonton noodles is enjoyed by almost all walks of life in the metropolitan city, that is commonly paired with succulent prawn in every dumpling.

CHICKEN SOUP AND CHINESE YAM AND WOLFBERRY (MYR 14.80)

Double-boiled soup that consists of chicken meat, pork, chicken feet, wolfberries and red dates for a nutritious diet.

Chicken specially selected from China for that distinctive texture to complement well their doubled-boiled soup that is boiled over 4 to 5 hours to achieve that sweetness resulted from thorough penetration from the herbs used.

CRISPY NOODLE WITH SHREDDED PORK (MYR 14.80)

Exclusively dished up crispy noodle and served separately with sauce at Tim Ho Wan which caters to each diner individually where customers could pour the amount of sauce that they desired over their crispy noodles. Simple yet pleasant-tasting meal.

YANG ZHOU FRIED RICE (MYR 16.80)

One of the commonly ordered dishes by the customers here, the Yang Zhou region inspired grub is woofed up with great ‘wok hei’ together with whole juicy prawns that literally bursting with juices in your mouth. Spiced up with chunky char siew bits bounteously alongside pork floss, making this plate children-friendly too.

Not only that!

Tim Ho Wan has also rolled out several more new sensational tastes to captivate you gastronomically.

STEAMED FISH MAW WITH PRAWN PASTE (MYR 14.80)

People who loves fish maw like me would surely thrill over this decadent dish! Springy bites of sweet prawn paste delicately laid atop moist and chewy fish maw, giving it a divine gratification. Undoubtedly, this is my favourite pick amongst the finest selection that warms the cockles of my heart the most! Thumbs up!

DUMPLING WITH SPICY SAUCE (MYR 15.80)

New appetizer dish in the house! Bountiful meaty dumpling fillings that are added with Chinese chives to accentuate the spice fragrance from the special spicy black vinegar sauce.

FRESHLY BAKED EGG TARTS (MYR 9.80)

Who could resist the warm and freshly baked pastries that come with indulgent buttery crust and silky egg custard in the centre? The golden nosh is freshly baked daily from fresh egg enhanced with ginger juice for a more supreme exuberance.

Currently, these new kids-of-the-block are first introduced at Mid Valley outlet. What about One Utama outlet you might ask? Fret not, as there are also equally promising creations awaiting you there as below, before the former new menus would be made available at One Utama too.

SALTED FRIED FISH SKIN (MYR 10.80)

Light and crispy snack! You could literally get addictive over it easily. In addition, the fish skin is also specially brought in from Hong Kong to achieve that particular discernment.

CEREAL CHICKEN NUGGETS (MYR 15.80)

You just can’t go wrong with fried cereal dishes. Each cutlets of tender chicken cubes is perfectly coated with oat and deep fried till golden brown. It makes a really superb crispy bites that calls more immediate savouring upon serving. Crunch it joyfully all the way………..

QUAIL EGG SIEW MAI (MYR 11.80)

The ubiquitous tasty meat dumpling that has been given some aesthetic touch to it by incorporating cute lill’ quail egg to enhance the overall flavor.

Special way to reward our lovely senior folks! ♥ ♥

Each table could enjoy a special discount of 20% whenever dining with at least one senior citizen over 60 years old among the guests for every Monday to Friday.

Whether you are a King or Queen, boy or girls,
everyone is welcomed to this culinary regality DIM SUM KING VS STEAMBOAT
QUEEN, serving both Dim Sum and Steamboat delicacies all under one roof at
Sunway Mentari here.

Previously known as Fatty Cat Steamboat restaurant,
it has since been taken over and renamed royally before embarking on an
immensely wider spread of choice, from sumptuous little Oriental morsels under
seasoned chef of 20 years to piping hot steamboat broth ranging from the Macau-inspired
pork bone soup, tom yam or porridge.

Food are reasonably priced here and I can’t help but
to indulge more on the dim sum selections, which are notably very well executed
deliciously with assured freshness. Dim Sum are served throughout the morning till
lunch time while steamboat feast proceed later on till at night.

Steamboat (All You Can Eat) MYR 38++.

Dim Sum (Ala-Carte) MYR 4.60 nett each

Fret not over sweating as comfortable dining area
are there to cool you off while ‘steaming’ with the steamboat-ing session.

Also delights in an assorted array of homemade
meatballs, imported beef, lamb and mussels from New Zealand and fresh oysters
too!

As we usually prefer our steamboat broth to be
clear, we opted for the signature and crowd’s favorite Pork Bone Soup, that
surprises the taste buds of ours with its sweet sapidness from the pork bone
with an added smoothness from the milk too. Watching it slowly boiled in the
pot together with the other ingredients are enough to get us drooling lots!

But let’s not be too impatient and savour their uber
awesome Dim Sum spread first, shall we? (=

Diners could choose from over 50 types of choices-
steamed or fried dim sums, with chee cheong fun and varieties of porridge to
warm up your tummy. As we have steamboat session coming up next, so we stick to
some lighter bites instead such as crystal shrimp dumpling, steamed siew mai, pork
ribs with black bean sauce, golden bun aka custard bun, sesame pastry with
lotus, pan fried carrot cake and the list goes on.

And my best bet would be their prawn-themed nosh
such as har kau, fried or prawn dumpling. Each mouthful bites suggests
bounteous juiciness fully-packed in it rendering an unmistakable satisfaction
as reflected by our facial expression (=

Ensue soon is steamboat time!

A luscious plate of delish combination with handmade
dumplings too!

On top of that, diners could also actually have
their chosen ingredients to be dished out in their favorite flavours such as
salted egg crab, or spicy chilli too. Now that is another steal to this marvelous
dim sum-steamboat combo establishment (=

Ah, don’t forget to tickle the sweet tooth of yours
with Polar brand ice popsicles or even waffle ice creams too, gently reviving
my childhood memories, hehe.

So are you ready for the battle between the King and
Queen? Who will triumph in the end, taste wise? Hehe. The only way to justify
it is to come and find out sioon, which wins the cockles of your heart more,
the dim sum or the steamboat (=

Cheers
for now and follow us at Carpe Diem for more ‘food-ful’ discoveries! ❤ℒℴѵℯ❤

Step

into Mizukawa Japanese Restaurant and be ready to be greeted with

its comfy-centric environment, suitable for both casual hang out as well as a perfect

venue for family dining.

Gracing

the avenue of IOI Boulevard in Puchong, Mizukawa has been whetting the palate

of nearby folks for over 3 months now, offering a promising myriad of Japanese

delights to tantalize your taste buds discerningly. Diners could browse

patiently from the wide choices before deciding on those that intrigue you the

most, from appetizers, salad, sashimi, nigiri sushi, aburi mentai sushi, maki

sushi, yakimono, agemono, kushiyaki, donburi, sukiya buffet, kaminabe, udon

pasta, to teishoku, as well as the latest addition of new menu; ramen.

Sign up as member to enjoy more saving! While stock last...

And

to our utter surprise, the ramen served here is one noteworthy dish worth

exploring further with various toppings to go with (before it gets overshadowed

by the other delish Japanese fares that we shall share later, hehe). The noodles

come especially springy and slurpy, and not easily get soggy in the soup when

diners get too carried away with their chatting and camaraderie at times. Truly

remarkable and highly recommend it.

Currently

it’s available in set, comes with complementing fish cakes, salad and fruits

sides each

Refreshing

salad that comes with wafu and mayo dressing, besides crispy bites

of fish cakes addictively.For

the Original Ramen Set, we have the best of both worlds; original soup and spicy

version.

CHICKEN BBQ RAMEN (17.90)

Love

the tender and nicely rolled up meat, adequately marinated before slowly braised

in special sauce to amuse your taste buds. Soup is very flavourful that is

subtlely enhanced with sweetness from long hours boiling of chicken and fish

bones. We personally enjoy this set very much, no wonder it’s also a popular

choice among diners, the best-seller according to Shawn, the owner of Mizukawa.SPICY SEAFOOD RAMEN (MYR 18.90)

For

those who prefer some spicy kick in their ramen bowl, then this seafood ramen

in spicy broth comes ideally inviting. Comprising of oceanic wonders like

salmon, squids and prawns, all flavoured up in the spiced soup prepared with

special inhouse blend of chili powder, it makes up an appetizingly aromatic

dish that is not overly spicy, so foodies with faint tongue could also enjoy

this delish ramen as well. UNAGI TOFU SALAD (MYR 30.80)

Premium

river eel layered atop silky beancurd with mayonnaise and sesame dressing.

Enjoy

each mouthful helping of the saporous unagi slice that has been thoroughly

glazed and served with salad in wafu sauce and in house prepared goma sauce, even

soya sauce too.SASHIMI 5 TEN MORI (MYR 68.80)

Callin’

out to sashimi buff!

Relish

in the colorfully fresh combination of almon, maguro, hamachi, shiro maguro and salmon toro. Bounteous sashimi cuts are munificently served

to satisfy your craving for these Japanese quintessential delights.

The salmon literally melts

in your mouth!

MIZUKAWA SPECIAL ROLL SUSHI (MYR 22.80)

California

roll made in the unconventional way by dishing it up on a plate with special

bake cream, shrimp roe and sweet sauce. We must say that this is a

fantastic idea to both palatably and visually that tempts us with the idea of

totally forgetting about the usual conical roll moving forward. Not only it’s

conveniently consumed, but also wonderfully toothsome!

IKA MARUYAKI (MYR 18.90)

For

the yakimono, we heed with Shawn’s suggestion of trying the

specially grilled whole squid with homemade teriyaki sauce. The

decision is proven right when relishing in the enticing chewy bites of the

perfectly grilled Japanese squid with the unique savory sauce that is sapid but

not as overpowering sweet as commonly encountered in mass commercial

production.

MISAKI HOTATE YAKI (MYR 23.90)

Another

superb rendition of baked scallop with cream sauce, laces of sweet crab meat

and shrimp roe for the utmost seafood delectation.

CREAMY KAKI YAKI (MYR 18.90)

Innovatively

house crafted baked oyster that has been lightly breaded and speedily deep

fried beforehand, and then drizzled with bake cream sauce, shrimp roe

and seaweed. Like the idea of the earlier handling of the oyster by first

frying it up to get rid of any unpleasant seawater taste and to give a tangy contrast

in texture.

KINOKO BUTTER (MYR 15.90)

Mushroom

fans like me would be thrilled over this homey and yummy fragrantly cooked

dish- assortment of mixed mushrooms with butter and bonito flakes.

Slimply awesome and thumbs up!

Now

who don’t love kushiyaki? Just how the Japanese love their fave street

food freshly grilled till perfection while retaining the juice!

YAKITORI (MYR 12.90)

Succulent

cubes of skewered grilled chicken meat. Guests could actually

request and check with Shawn whether their choice of kushiyaki sticks could be

done according to personal taste preference- in this case, I have it shio yaki-

grilled with salt rather than as suggested in the menu. Yum!

IKA GESSO KUSHI (MYR 17.90)

Diners

shouldn’t miss this cutely skewered grilled squid head that is plainly

winning with its chunky bite-sized and delicious glaze. Caveat be told, you

would tend to get hooked on to it for more! (=

Rather than ending every

meal from The Land of Rising Sun with matcha gelato by default, why not give

some citrusy sorbet a try?

Add caption

SORBET (MYR 10.50 each)

Mango

Orange- a hit among regularsCoconut

made with pandan (screwpine)

Overall, the array of

Japanese food that is served at Mizukawa promises a mouthwatering affair and

patrons get to enjoy the spread within a cozy and soothing environment. Menu

featured are interestingly appealing and delicious for Shawn really emphasizes

only freshest ingredients are served, otherwise withdrawn, and insist to make

most of the sauce inhouse for a spectacular dining experience at Mizukawa. Do

remember to check it out soon guys!

Been operating nearly 3 months’ now since last May, Shunka Japanese Restaurant has been welcoming folks from the Damansara neighbourhood with their cozy family concept dining, boasts with an array of promising Japanese delights, ranging from the signature staples to the quintessential epitome of dessert- matcha.

Edisson,
YC and Elven, are the 3 musketeers behind this establishment, with most works
and recipes are managed by Chef Elven behind the scene. Shunka first foray into
the F&B industry was 5 years ago in Penang, before deciding to also include
Klang Valley into their radar, allowing more foodies from all walks of life to
also have a fair share of experience with Shunka.

This establishment from Northern Malaysia provides a Zen-inspired dining experience
from the most authentic Japanese Cuisine, Matcha to Sake, complete with an
urban interior set up.

Sashimi
is also available in the menu in order to cater for fans of sliced raw fish but
not prominent as their main aim is to introduce more homey hot dishes, Washoku,
relived from Tokyo to tantalize the discerning palates of KL folks with large variety of scrumptious dishes and
regional specialties.We
started off with some light bites before proceeding to main dishes and rounded
up with some matcha delights!

GRILLED PORK BELLY (MYR 7.30)

Thinly
sliced pork bellly using Iberico pig and pan-fried till to perfection. Each
bite is so delightfully crispy and exudes the ‘kriukk kriukk’ sound that gets
you hooked on for more! No joke but simply spectacular, serious!

Love
this tontoro shioyaki to the max! Highly recommend! Slurps!

CRISPY SUSHI (MYR 13.90)

Conveniently
bite-sized sushi with a crispy skin on the outside but remains soft within. The
roll is made up of unagi, eel sauce and cucumber. Good bites of nuance by the
crispy exterior, would be better if the mayo is lighter so as not to overshadow
the dainty taste of unagi.

BUTTER GRILLED SQUID (MYR
22.90)

Ika
bata yaki, Japanese squid marinated with inhouse prepared 3 types of shoyu, before
lightly grilled with butter, rendering a juicier and moister texture compared to the
usually Ika Sumire which is grilled smokier elsewhere.

JAPANESE CHEESE OMELETTE (MYR
10.50)

This tamagoaki
in fact requires substantial efforts and skills with passion as the cooking
process requires several delicate folding to create various soft layers to go
with the mayonnaise sauce before got dished up delicately onto the ceramic.

KIMCHI STEAMBOAT (MYR 17.90)

The
flavourful broth is made of home fermented kimchi and served in 3 spiciness
level. For me personally, would go for the original, non-spicy version for that
allows me to really enjoy the savory-tanginess of the kimchi.

Guests
who love some spicy kick in their soup could request for additional chili
blend- ‘hua ciao’ into it, and within seconds, you gonna feel the hotness,
hehe. So do go easy on it (= Soup
can be refilled once and every subsequent would be charged MYR 3.

JAPANESE DUMPLING (MYR 10.50)

The
yaki gyoza is using minced meat and chopped Chinese chives for extra crispness,
before wrapped within thin dough skin imported from Japan before lightly
pan-fired till slightly golden brown to preserve the juiciness within. It is served together with spiced shoyu
dipping. Each mouthful is juicy and meaty.

SPICY PORK BULGOGI (MYR 17.90)

We
nearly mistook it into Korean Bibimbap (=

Toothsome
bowl of rice woofed up hot from the kitchen with assorted veggies and succulent
pork slices. Meat is decently marinated except that the rice might need tad
more saltiness in it. Apart from that, the foodies of the round table were
happily mixing all the ingredients of the stone bowl together with onsen
tamago.

GARLIC FRIED RICE (MYR 10.50)

Garlic
fried rice using inhouse handled garlic relish beforehand and then fried
together with minced meat to present you a bowl of hearty carbo intake.

TONKATSU SHOYU RAMEN (MYR
19.90)

This ramen
of shoyu and tonkatsu broth is essentially crafted to reflect the common taste
bud of our fellow Japanese friends. Combining both shoyu and tonkotsu in the
same broth, expect a tad saltier taste in the soup to accompany your silky
noodle, tender pork slices and aji tamago.

JAPANESE OMELETTE NOODLE (MYR
13.90)

The
noodle version of our ubiquitous omurice, has been given a new breath at Shunka
by using springy ramen that is flavoured with sauce imported from Japan.

Another
matcha oasis worth checking out for green tea enthusiasts. I must say this is
the second place that I enjoy the matcha desserts other than Nana’s Green Tea so far.

All
matcha desserts that we sampled this evening are made with only fresh milk for
any liquid base- absolutely no ice involved throughout. Thus, matcha lovers
need not worry if their green tea dessert or beverage gets diluted over time.

MAGIC MATCHA (MYR 16.90)

Love
the majikku matcha that uses cubes of Matcha frozen ice, together with matcha
gelato as well as their inhouse trademarked matcha powder (which is available
at retail price MYR 38)

For
this particular drink, it’ll get much more concentrated in matcha flavor as it
melts as the ice cubes are also frozen from matcha liquid. Yum yum!

ICED MATCHA WITH RED BEAN (MYR
16.90)

Just how
you like your matcha and red bean desserts are served -Matcha Kakigori and Azuki. The red
beans have also been separately handled earlier to sweeten up the beans to the
desired softness level that resembles those conventionally served back in The
Land of Rising Sun.

HOT MATCHA (MYR 7.30)

Looking
for not so fancy drink? Then this hot matcha that is made smoother with milk
might just do the trick for conventionalist.

MARBLE SODA (MYR 6.90)

We basically
have fun with this carbonated drink, where it was first shaken before the
stopper got popped up, hence, the splashing consequence as you might have
predicted, haha. What a cool ending to our Washoku dining session! Kanpai!

Value sets are also available from MYR 11.90++ onwards, Monday to Saturday, 1130am through

Cheers for now and follow us at Carpe Diem for more ‘food-ful’ discoveries! ❤ℒℴѵℯ❤
