Café Latte

Besides, the Coffee Selections from Gagliari Italian Premium Beans served over here are also meagre. The Café Latte being too diluted with milk and lack the coffee body it should at least possesses. I suppose the bartender should have measured the coffee to milk proportion accurately before mixing them all up together in a glass. Unattractive latte art design aside, this cuppa of latte is quite a letdown with almost no coffee beans aroma, although comes in a bigger glass.

Strawberry Cheesecake

So much so the ambience is good for chilling out session, but the food quality wise, to me personally, is not up to par. The Strawberry Cheesecake to me, really lacks the basic cheesiness and creaminess it supposed to have. Even the top cream layer easily flakes off from the cake portion, making is not as enjoyable as the common cheesecake. Even by just cutting the side with fork, the layers separate out easily and this is a bit a nuisance that deter you from fully enjoying your dessert.

Berry Green Tea

This is the first time that I find myself being disappointed with the dessert part. This seemingly nice cake of Berry Green Tea, is actually very dry and coarse. The sponge cake actually loses out to the normal sponge cake and lack buttery taste as well. The top pinkish cream covering it is actually another let down for it tastes more like butter cream to me, rather than the healthier, fresh milk cream. Just before I raise my white flag, luckily the dried berries are still edible and decently fruity. Unless some improvement being done, I would never consider having the same piece again.

Nutty Choc

For this nutty bite, you will find coarsely blended nuts being sprinkled on the top of the another chocolate donut. Even so, somehow, I feel like am eating a charcoal cake instead for the dough is bit dry and flakes off easily as I bite into them. So it’s bit hassle for me to have to keep it clean along the way. In fact, it lacks the richness of the real chocolate taste and isn’t as fluffy as a basic doughnut should have. Hmm….

As we are catching a bus back to Penang, we thought of getting something light to bite on while travelling in the bus later. And so, my friend suggest to get some nearby donuts as it’s much easier to be settled So the call is on him and he pick mostly all chocolate-themed, haha.

Double Choc

As if the chocolate donut is not chocolatey enough, he opts for the double oomph, where the chocolate donut is further glazed with some milky chocolate ganache on the outside. Perhaps the donuts has been left cold or some time, so it tastes bit hard to me. Therefore, I don’t really find it extraordinary to me compared to have it fresh from the oven.
