Come across this 'spooky' place in the month of Halloween.

This Iced Mocha is a big cry!! It is so diluted and just not worth the price at all! Not only that it is so watery and the ice diluted it so much, there is nearly no coffee aroma at all. Not to mention whether any chocolaty taste that you can sense, but it is just not nice to have a cheated cup of mocha but pay at gourmet level. Something is really wrong with their coffee beverage and total revamp is a darn need!

In comparison to the Iced Mocha, this another version of diluted drink, still deserve a minor forgiveness. At least there is still some chocolate flavor in the drink, unlike the coffee that seems to not even live up to the par of a 3-in-1 sad

The Mushroom Soup is just mere satisfactorily. Although it does come with some tiny bites of mushroom traces, it is actually bit salty and lack of creamy consistency that a good plate of a decent mushroom soup should have.

This appetizer ; German Potato Salad, is of meagre level. Lucky thing is that the potato cubes are soft and bit mushy, so blend in quite well with the mayo dressing that is used, alongside some several stems of garden salad. It is quite normal and nothing to boast about.

This course of Pan Seared Smoked Duck Breast is quite delectable and meet the basic requirement of a good Pan Seared Smoked Duck Breast, although it could further be improved. The so-called grilled vegetables are quite bland in fact. Duck meat is juicy and tender, lightly drenched in some orange sauce. Potato wedges is savory with some crispiness on the skin.

Same goes for the plate of Grilled Sirloin. Meat is done tender and regarded as quite normal by the foodie. Same case, nothing much to boast about. It is dished out with some very light salad and also potato wedges.

I guess overall, only the potato wedges have tickled our tastebuds amusingly. Sad but true.

Tau Fu Fa Cry Sep 23, 2013

Tau Fu Fa

Well, so far that I have tasted the similar fare, this Tau Fu Fa sold here is a bit at the losing end at the moment. Reason being is that the texture of the bean curd is rather coarse and no longer as smooth as it used to be. Even those normal stall that I get from elsewhere taste much better, not to mention whether is it still silky. Frankly speaking, the solidified bean base dessert by this stall now taste more like a normal bean curd that is used in cooking type. Some reverse engineering is much needed in this case for the sake of its business sustainability.

Mushroom Soup Cry Sep 10, 2013   (Related Review)

Mushroom Soup

So much so their arrays of pizzas are delectable and having great choices, but the mushroom is a bit let down. It taste bit funny as it is bit clumpy and far too diluted that you hardly could taste any mushroom flavor, forget about enjoying any mushroom bites. It seems like either the proportion of the soup powder has been miscalculated or the ingredients just go wrong somehow. Seriously need improvement on the soup recipe

Mango Juice Cry Sep 04, 2013   (Related Review)

Mango Juice

Since am away from the hustle and bustle of the city life at the moment, so would like to get some taste of the local here. So I called for a glass of mango juice, which seemingly as an apple juice as well. I was a bit surprised for the usual one should be in an appealing dark yellow to golden in colour. True enough, the drink is a tad too diluted as if the drink has been added with lots of water, thus causing it not that delectable. Merely a flavoured drink I suppose.

Bengal Cuisine Cry Jul 17, 2013
Categories : Malaysian variety | Food court | Mixed rice

After some quick energy booster of a nice cone of ice cream, we head for our dinner session then. Initially was looking for some cheesecake spread, but not to be seen. And so, settled down with this new venture to me at Bengal Cuisine.

It reminds me of the delish Arabian food that I have a couple of weeks ago upon seeing the Beriani menu. And I thought no harm giving this new cuisine a try. So I called for the Chicken Beriani Rice that comes with papadum and also dahl gravy.

Apparently, this is far from what I have expected to be. The chicken curry is quite diluted but the chicken meat remain decently tender. It’s also tad salty to my liking. As for the papadum, it is pretty ordinary and nothing to shout about, but to cry foul on its dahl gravy. Not only that it is quite oily, I hardly taste any dahl in it, or even traces of them. In this case, I think the dahl gravy of roti canai fares much much better. Comes to the Beriani rice, it is also meagre as it isnot as flavourful with spices as I thought. Perhaps, it’s due to the normal rice being used, rather than the authentic Mandi or long-grain Baswati rice. Am still missing the similar fare from Rock Salt Grill & Coffee restaurant with its signature Mandi Rice. Yum!
