I went to this shop with my colleague during lunch hours. They have many customers. But the place is spacious and suitable for group dining. We ordered Chicken Chop Rice and Nasi Kerabu Ayam Percik.

Nasi Kerabu Ayam Percik is nice. (RM9.90) The chicken given is very big and its greavy is rendang sauce. It tastes a bit spicy but it is sweet! We like this dish and will certainly come back again for it.

The Chicken Chop Rice (RM9.90) comes with an egg and with 3 choice of selection of sauce. We chose brown sauce. It is mushroom sauce with pepper. It is a bit spicy. The chicken chop is normal but the rice is small. Not very full after eating this. I don't recommended to try this.

Lunch at Fat Spoon Cafe Smile Jun 13, 2012

Yesterday went to the Fat Spoon with my colleagues. This shop is situated at Damansara Uptown. This is my first time here. It is a special shop with old style decoration and home like feeling.

They use this story books as their menu booklet. The list are pasted on the pages. Very special! They serve fusion food and more to home cooked style.
Great!The Food Menu~

Great!The Food Menu~

We ordered Claypot Lou Shu Fen and Fat Spoon Noodles (RM9.90). The Claypot Lou Shu Fen's noodles are apparently cooked separately from the greavy as we feel that the taste of the noodles and the greavy are different.

Well, the Fat Spoon Noodles are actually kuew teow soup (RM9.90). The soup is nice. I like it a lot. It tasted fresh and not oily. I love this home cooked feel. But it is a bit expensive as I don't feel full enough.

The shop's interior design as picture below. For example, a table with 4 different type of chairs. Old chairs and tables in the shop. There is also a huge blackboard written with the list of the food available in the store.

The ambience is tranquil and nice. However, I felt that the choices of food are too little. It is a special shop but I don't think I will visit again.

Supper OK Jun 10, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Vegetarian | Desserts

I went to this shop with few friends at night for supper around 9pm. When we go, there was not any other customers. But we saw few customers dropped by to take away some desserts. Their service is not bad. We ordered few desserts.

This is mine, red bean soup with glutinous balls~ It tasted not bad. Well, I love to eat glutinous balls. I could say that they are not hard and acceptable. The range of the food price is around RM3/4 and above. It is moderate. They serve many many types of desserts.

This is a good place for friends' gathering as they have tables that are large enough to accommodate the amount of people. But not many seats, if you want to go in big big group, maybe can make a booking first smile Environment is clean and calm.

James Foo Western Food is famous for their western food at reasonable price and lots of choices. They serve fish, pork, chicken and even lamb! (I am not sure if they have beef) with different kinds of cooking methods. During at night, if you are late, sometimes you even need to wait at outside to get a seat.

I have ordered this big size orange juice (around RM5/6) And this Chicken Maryland. It comes with pineapple, ham and cheese. The portion of the food is big. (around RM11+) It is certainly worthwhile for that price! This is nice too!

Overall comment: They are good as they serve many many types of western food at good price. But you need to wait for a long time when they are many people. I have even waited for an hour to get my food served. It is a bit crowded when there are many people.

Spending per head: Approximately RM15(晚餐)

Annie 1 Menglembu Mee OK Jun 06, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Kopitiam | Noodles

Annie 1 is famous for its Menglembu Mee. It is situated at Damansara Uptown. Right infront of Uptown Tower 1 (UOB Bank).

The environment of the restaurant is clean and nice. It is most crowded during the lunch hours. Recently, it has expanded to two shoplots. Many office workers have their lunch here.

They serve few ranges of food such as noodles, toasted bread, rice and desserts. I always hang out with my friend here because the prices are reasonable and the food taste great!

The Dry Wanton Noodle with Wanton is their famous dish. The noodle tastes just nice as it is tangy and they cook the noodles well. I love their wanton! Their wanton is always fresh.

Besides that, they also serve dry curry noodles. This is not very spicy but a bit oily.

This is a great place to hang out for breakfast or lunch or dinner. It is suitable for group dining! The food ranges from RM4.50 to RM7.50 while the drinks are around 2.00 and above.

Their service is also good. They have enough number of waiters in the shop. We do not need to wait for long time to get served.

Good food with reasonable price and great environment!
