Pasta Zanmai is a good location for those want to have a Japanese mix italy style food.

they have outlets at sunway pyramid, mid valley, 1utama and hartamas shopping center...

On this visit, I tried the hot spring eggs unagi rice and tempura pasta.

For me it was really good,

the unagi topped with half boiled hot spring egg is perfect!

The mini ebi tempura pasta was topped sesame sauce was delicious!

Restoran Kah Hing Smile Jun 28, 2012
Categories : Vietnamese | Restaurant | Noodles

Restaurant Kah Hing serves home-style Vietnamese fare and is also managed by a group of Vietnamese locals, located at shop lot behind Hong Leong Bank Sri Sinar, Segambut, Kuala Lumpur. What is truly magnetizing is that Kah Hing serves Pork! Menu is limited to noodles and some snacks but I felt that it is quite sufficient as you only need a few great dishes instead of a whole lot of average dishes.

Appetizing Vietnamese rolls,
minced pork wrapped in white netting and deep fried till crispy, full of flavor.
Dip it into the pungent garlic, chili and fish sauce dip for extra oomph~

Vietnam specialty Braised Pork Knuckle,
Chunks of fatty trotters are braised in a soy sauce to produce a savory and slightly sweet flavors.

Vietnamese Kway Teow Mihun soup, where is a luscious soup, thin Vietnamese rice noodles/mihon and chunks of chicken slice, pork and chewy homemade fish ball completes the cast. The texture of the 'kuey teow' is different compare to those in Malaysia.

good tasting food, try if you like Vietnamese!

Red Door  Smile Jul 18, 2012
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Noodles

Red Door located at 1st floor Jusco, Metro Prima Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. The restaurant is serving Melaka Nyonya cuisine.

I Highly recomended this place as their cendol, sambal prawn, kampung chicken soup, fish head etc taste awesome, as this is a nice change from usual kopitiam setting, and the price is very reasonable for food in shopping centre too.

My most favorite is their Nyonya Traditional Fried Chiken and Nasi Kerabu

The rice in a nasi kerabu is blue because it has been pre-cooked in the blue extract from the dried flowers of the Clitoria ternatea plant. (Kaya Flower)

These flowers, which are a strikingly vivid shade of blue, are also used to dye rice in other dishes such as pulut tai tai and nonya chang.

The rice is full flavored and quite delighting.
