Pork burger! anyone??? Yeah its rare in Malaysia to find Pork burger and surprisingly they serve non-halal burger at such a high rent place.tongue

From outside, it look like a pub kind of place and once seated, the waiter bring us a menu. There are a few pre set combination to choose from and also people can build their own burger.

Mahalo

Mahalo

My Mahalo. Pork Patty and bacon with grilled pineapple, caramel onion and cheese. The pork patty was very juicy and thick. Very thick! mad The burger was quite large portion and I need to separate it to eat. Pineapple was nicely grilled too and its sweet. Overall with the big fries, I got so full after eating that.

Price wise was quite on the high side for burger outlet with not much fantastic service. Call for a bill and take for quite some time to come over and have to go to counter to settle. At the very least, its Pork!

Their pancake have the Mr.Bean stamped on and looks interesting outside.
Packaging

Packaging is nice as well. Simple smile
Filling

Filling

Bought the Custard flavour and try... hmm not much taste for the filling. The Pancake was soft and I think the only downside is the custard not giving much flavour. Prefer it to be much sweeter or stronger custard taste.
Tofufa with rice ball

Meantime, also got their Tofufa with rice balls. The rice balls was frozen from supermarket and was nothing really special. The tofufa was soft and nice. They also add in soya milk instead of usual sugar which is a plus.lol
Soya Ice Cream Sampling

Soya Ice Cream Sampling

They let me sample their Ice cream which is made from soy milk. Taste great! So in the end. The best of all is their Frozen soy milk ice cream that they let me taste. lol

Price wise, I suppose it is rather expansive compare than usual soya milk and there are better ones out there at the roadsides. smile

Got myself a small bag of Macademia popcorn for RM19. Yes it was Crunchy, flavourful and sweet. It was good for the first few bites and will leave the rest for another day. It was too sweet for me for some reason.

It goes well with the salad as its light and refreshing as well.

Dessert time~ OK Jun 04, 2012

Categories : Chinese | Stall / Warung | Desserts

Being a Hong Kong Dessert fan since 'sometime' ago, I'm delighted to hear that Hui Lau Shan did actually landed in Malaysia. After wondering sometime in One Utama and saw the que of people line up. Inside the outlet was packed and people seems not having gotten their food. From the look, they seem to lack of staff and might need to speed up a little smile

Ordered this trio to share. Start with the Ice Cream with some mango pieces inside. Thinking it will be better with some mango sauce and others. Kinda plain and the crust seems no flavour to me. The middle was a mango cream with mango pieces and glutinous rice ball. I love the rice ball as its so 'Q' and goes well with mango. The top one was a mango ice cream with some coconut flesh and mango pieces. Frankly, dont really like the coconut flesh very much and this was just so-so for me.

This was some lou-lou kind of dessert where dip the fruits into the mango sauce? Not very sure how to eat but I suppose its like that. Erm for me is quite plain and another mango + fruits dessert with coconut flesh.

The last thing was the Pomelo Icy Sago with Rockmelon. Not much taste to this, the center ice cream taste like Santan and its alot of ice. tongue

Well overall don't really like it too much buy will pay a visit again someday to try out other things. mad
