When come to lunch, I usually can't decide where to eat. But recently I stumbled upon this hidden germ last 2 weeks ago. Next Station Noodle House located at section 19, Petaling Jaya.

Next Station Noodle House offers more than just authentic, daily handmade premium quality noodles - famous for its Ginger Wine Noodle, Tomato Noodle and Chicken Noodle. You can order either cook in soup or dry noodle. While for the noodle, you may order either Mee Sua, Lou Xu Fun, Hor Fun, Mee Hoon or yellow noodle.

Tomato Noodle Soup RM7.50

The tomato gravy has a combination of sour and sweet taste. I love it so much.

Satisfy your taste buds with delicious Kampung chicken. I usually prefer Kampung ckicken as is not fleshy and fat as the normal chicken and is often touted to have better tasting, firmer flesh and less fat. The meat was real chewy and even tastes gamey.

Nice Siham  OK Jun 10, 2016
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood

This is my second time visit to Hock Chin for their Siham. A bit pricey for the Siham as it charge RM10 per plate. Beside Siham, you should order Lala, Balitung, Otak-Otak, Sotong Rojak or tauhu Bakar.

The poor part is the service is bad as they let us wait until 1 hour and the owner is slow and a bit rude. Will not recommend to go during public holiday.

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Bak Kut Teh

When we talk about Bak Kuh Teh, our brain will automatic think of Klang Bak Kuh Teh. What so special about Klang Bak Kuh Teh ? Le Xiang Bak Kuh Teh is the answer to my doubt as Le Xiang Bak Kuh Teh serve the best Bak Kuh Teh from Klang.

In Le Xiang Bak Kuh Teh, you can choose to order dry Bak Kuh Teh or Claypot Bak Kuh Teh (soup type).

Dry Bak Kuh Teh (RM13)

I fall in love with their dry Bak Kuh Teh. I can smell the nice aroma when it been served out. The pork meat is so juicy and chewy. Not too spicy and the ingredient is fresh. This is my second time having my dry Bak Kuh Teh at Le Xiang. Thumb up for the owner.

Claypot Bak Kuh Teh (RM12)

Your meal will not be perfect without Claypot Bak Kuh Teh. For sure I will order their claypot Bak Kuh Teh. The texture of the Bak Kuh Teh soup is thicker and tasty. Add in with fresh button mushroom, vegetables and Enoki to make the the whole claypot more delicious. Not forget to order Yau Cha Guai (RM2.50/per bowl) as the owner homemade of it.

Pig Trotter in Vinegar /Chu Kiok Chou (RM10)

Pig Trotter in Vinegar or usually Chinese called it as Chu Kiok Chu is an old traditional Cantonese recipe originally formulated for mothers after birth. The important part of cooking this dishes is depend on the vinegar. Le Xiang use good quality of vinegar for this dishes. The mixture of sweet and sour really satisfied my appetite.

Chu Tou Tong (RM7)

To balance up the meal, we order Chu Tou Tong . The soup is a bit spicy as it boil together with black pepper. The main ingredient for " Chu Tou tong" is a fresh pork intestine.

Special Cold Tofu (RM7)

This dish is unique to me as fried egg been add on the top of cold tofu. When you scoop the tofu, you can taste the egg too.

Anyone want to try their Homemade desserts??? They serve Sweet Potato Soup (RM2.80) , Greenbean Barley (RM3.50) and GreenBean Soup (RM2.80).

Categories : Western variety | Café | Restaurant | Steaks / Chops

Blue Cow Cafe is a unique to me as well as their food. Let me do a simple introduction about this unique cafe. Blue Cow Café & Deli, previously known as Fogal Meat Market, officially opened for business in August 2006. The shop front in Plaza Damas is a unique concept offering discerning customers the opportunity to buy the freshest quality Australian beef and lamb, our own fresh sausages and burgers, complimented by the very best fresh local pork, ham and arguably, the most sensational bacon in the whole of Malaysia.

The cozy environment with a simple yet nice decoration, the restaurant able capture the customer attention as the concepts not only offer dine in but customer can choose to buy the fresh product back.

Start our meal with 3 different types of soup. It hard for me to choose which one I like as 3 of the soup is delicious. The soup is made from fresh ingredient and the texture is creamy. The best part about this soup is no MSG, no preservative & no artificial, made from scratch right here at the cafe. Mini bowl (RM7) and bowl (RM12) .

Rich Pumpkin Soup

Creamy Mushroom Soup

Hearty Pea & Ham Soup

Pork Rendang with Rice RM22

This look unique to me as they serve rendang in pork. Their local favorite serve with pickles, fried egg and rice. The portion is just nice for one person.

Large Platter RM115

If you are meat lover, you will definitely love this. The large platter contain 2 sausages, 2 kebabs, 1 rump steak, 1 pork steak, 1 lamb chop, 1 burger patty, bacon and 3 side dishes. This portion is ideal for 3 to 5 person. Nom...Nom...

Shepherd Pie RM20

Rich and fresh beef stew topped with fluffy mashed potatoes, finished with cheese. This is really a mouth watering pie.

Chili Con Carne RM27

The specialty about this dishes is spicy minced bean that mixed with bean chili. It taste nice when dip the corn chips into it.

Introduce the new menu that will be release by Blue Cafe. Crumbed Pork with Spinach Cheese and Crumbed Pork Cordon Bleu.

This is my first time try on China Cuisine. To me China is famous for Sichuan food or " Mala Sauce". Recently I found this hidden germ in Pandan Indah. At first I thought this restaurant is a steamboat restaurant when I glance from outside.

But when you step into the shop, you can smell the nice aroma of food and the staff welcome me with a warm smile. The restaurant might look ordinary to you but the food able to capture your attention.

Chinese Style Hot Plate Roti Canai

The roti canai is unique to me as it serve in hot in triangle shape. The skin is thick and it taste nice that normal roti canai that we usual have. It look like a pancake to me and the texture not so greasy.

Seafood Pot

The soup is a mixture of sourish and spicy but it appetizing to me. You can request for different spiciness level as they cater the food to suit Malaysian local taste. China people can take super spicy food as they need to keep their body warm especially winter season. But when come to Malaysian, our spiciness level is different. You can challenge yourself to take super spicy level.

The ingredient is so fresh especially the prawn and fish. This dishes really mouth-watering.

Talapia Fish With Spices and Herbs

I will highly recommend this dish. I not joking as the Talapia fish not only big but it fresh. The combination of the ingredients really mix well as chef use their secret spices and herbs. If you prefer less spicy, please inform the staff when you make an order.

Spicy Sichuan Crab

Spicy Sichuan Prawn

Sichuan cuisine is always my favorite food because of the great taste and imagination. There is a famous description about Sichuan food: “one hundred dishes, one hundred flavors.” Sichuan cuisine is featured by its unique cooking methods, adaption of spices and seasonings including fresh ones, pickled vegetables and dried goods. Now Sichuan dishes are enjoyed across the world.

Coasted Pickle ( White Carrot with Green chili)

Whenever you order dishes more than RM100 and above, you will get free vegetables .

The chef demonstrate to us how he usually prepare the ingredients and cooking. I was so impress with their cleanliness of their kitchen. Hao Yun Lai 好运来
