Q-Mochi Smile Aug 13, 2012   (Related Review)

Mochi is a kind of Japanese rice cake made of glutinous rice as is serves as dessert. Q-Mochi is yet another signature of Meet Fresh and so far, their signature dish is pretty amazing. The mochi is very "Q" or chewy in english and it is lightly flavoured by itself. There were sweet syrup showered on top of the mochi and is then sprinkle with some nuts to it. These added extra sweetness to it and some crunchy texture when chewing. The dessert had the perfect sweetness and I prefer the black mochi because it offered more scent and just simply taste better.

Signature Herbal Jelly Smile Aug 13, 2012

Meet fresh, yet another dessert shop that serves ice freezing series offers a wide variety to choose from and being lazy I always opt for the recommended / signature dish to determine if I would come back for more. The herbal jelly is indeed refreshing not only to the heart but also to my taste bud. I love the fine texture of the ice which actually melts upon entering to the mouth. The ice is covered by a generous layer of herbal jelly which is very chewy and would be better if it is less chewy, and topped with generous portion of taro ball and sweet potato. I love the dessert because it wasn't too sweet and the taro ball was just simply amazing and nice. There's also coconut milk provided for those who love extra scent and taste in their dessert. Highly recommended as I think it is one of the best herbal jelly ice available out there.

Fried Oyster Smile Aug 13, 2012   (Related Review)

The dish consist of fresh salad that is made from cabbage, tomato, cucumber, lettuce, carrot and topped with mayonnaise as side dish and the main item are fried into golden brown huge size oyster. In layman description, it tasted like fried chicken with a layer of crunchy 'skin' covering the oyster inside. The taste is absolutely different from the typical fried oyster and this is rather dry and clean on surface but is juicy and aromatic on the inside, not forgetting the crunch actually very, and I do mean very very appetizing .

Seafood Salad Smile Aug 13, 2012

It is always good to have a salad prior to main course and what's better when you have have a twist from the traditional. The seafood salad at Yamada is serves with fresh ingredient from vegetable to the meat. There were lettuce, sliced cucumber, carrot, and cabbage and it does come with slices of salmon topped with mini size salmon roe and is stirred with mild sweet mayonnaise. The salmon added extra crunch to the boring salad and younger kid actually loves it because of that. Taste great with all these combination and it come in a rather big portion which is kinda filling before reaching the main course, so you might wanna share with others.

Songket is located at the heart of city, but it is quite hard to find because it hide behind the shop lots and only a small signboard at the roadside. they serve Malay traditional cuisine. There is open air environment for dine in with very nice and traditional Malay decoration.

For the drink, the pink colour is Sirap bandung, this is Malay traditional drink. It is very nice and not very sweet, just nice. It make me feel fresh.

There is quite lots of ingredients for the ice kacang. I like the red bean the most because it is big and sweet. All other ingredients are fresh also. You can add ice-cream and DIY your own flavour ice kacang. There are very special ice cream flavour- Lemon glass, bandung, pandan, coffee and chocolate. The chocolate is dark chocolate with very strong taste, not sweet at all but delicious!

Of course, Malay kuih-muih is always the significant food. All are Malay traditional style kuih-muih. The kuih is strong pandan taste and very soft.
