Claypot Wang Di Mian Cry Aug 12, 2012   (Related Review)

There's one stall here selling a wider series of claypot noodle where most of the ingredients are the same only the type of noodle differ like wang di mian (mee raja), lou shu fun, noodle and etc. I tried onl the dried claypot wang di mian and it does look good presentation wise but tasted bad. First off the noodle is lightly flavoured. There's no saltiness in neither the noodle nor the ingredient like fishball. The dark soy sauce doesn't seems to spice up the appetite too. The only saver of the dish is the chilli padi with soy sauce. I could have put RM5 with top up for a better choice here in Ming Tien.

French Toast Cry Aug 12, 2012

Ming Tien first started around Sunway area and then bloom into Taman Megah area with a tropical theme. Ming Tien is known for its ABC & bread series previously. I tried the french toast few weeks back and was rather disappoint with the serving. The size shrink a little and the ingredient used / given was obviously less. The bread was toasted with spread of melted peanut butter inside and the bread is showered with stingy portion of honey. Taste wise was degraded somehow and the bread was rather hard and dry. Because the bread wasn't serves hot, the chunk of butter didn't really melt and thus making the toast being eaten with the absence of the butter. Overall there's much more better version of french toast and I wouldn't dare to imagine how other bread series like thick toast would be like.

Spaghetti Bolognaise Cry Jul 16, 2012   (Related Review)

This is not your typical plate of spaghetti bolognaise and it definitely doesn't taste like one either. It is made of minced meat with fried / scramble egg cook with the spaghetti sauce and serves hot on the thin (angel hair) spaghetti. It is very dull in color and rather dry when chill. It taste weird and the spaghetti is over cook in my opinion. There weren't any familiar you would usually find in a good plate of spaghetti

If you flip through their menu, you will notice all its pork specialities dish is label with a must try icon where as pasta have none. I'm curios as if it is not recommended why serves? So I try to order a spaghetti to share with friends. The dish is spaghetti tossed in an irresistible combination of sauteed bacon, mushrooms, chilies and onions where you get to customize the spicy level. It was indeed nothing big to shout about despite everything is timely cooked, it is lack with 'omph' in the taste.

Fish & Chips Cry Jul 13, 2012

Alexis offers some of the most pleasurable contemporary dining and entertainment experiences to be found in Kuala Lumpur. The fish & chips taste rather ordinary and for price of RM30++ I would have expecting something much more. The fish meat is soft and tender but it is covered in an overly thick flour. The deep fried fish is good with the tartar sauce and the portion is not too generous to me. This is a dish where I wouldn't recommend cause you can easily get something better and cheaper elsewhere.
