Tong Pak Fu is now open up many restaurant in Penang, the one i visit is located at Penang Gurney Plaza. Tong Pak Fu famous for it shave ice which has whole lot of flavor to be choose but we feel only certain are good with most of them too sweet for us. During durian season they have the durian flavor which is quite special and tasty for us. price is acceptable with around RM10 per person and the portion is big enough for sharing.

Face to Face Noodle House located at Penang Time Square which has alot of parking space in front of the restaurant since Time Square is not that famous in Penang and not much shop in operation as well. We normally just go there for this restaurant pan mee. The restaurant itself also quite small with 2 storey but limited table.

Face to Face Noodle House is pour favorite restaurant for Pan Mee, the soup is clear and sweet, pan mee is well cook and has the right texture. the deep fried fritter as well very delicious which is crispy and flavorful. Carnation Bah Kut Teh is one of the famous Bak Kut Teh in Penang where it has been in business for more than 20+ years, whenever you pass by here you can smell the fragrance of spices and herbs generated from the long hour boiling soup.

Bah Kut Teh that consist of not only pork meat instead it has vegetable, mushroom, meat ball and taufu. The cafe is located at Gurney Paragon, i always visit here during lunch time, it definitely worth the price. It so called semi buffet, pay for below RM20 and you got a main dish and drink with unlimited supply of food, bun and salad. the chicken is crispy and juicy inside, top with sweet sauce which is just awesome. Did i mention free flow of soup? yes, the soup is not bad either. give it a try and you won't regret.

Yummy Yummy, Hameed Mee Sotong is our top pick for Mee Sotong in Penang, it simply the best and my all time favorite.
It taste sweet and sauteed, always "tambah sotong", every spoon also full with sotong is my favorite. although the environment is not so friendly, pretty hot but it definitely worth it. parking is another problem but try to be there before 11.30am then you can easily find a good parking spot.
