This dish is the BBQ chicken rice. The chicken is not tender at all. The meat given was the breast and wing part which i dislike the most for this sort of dish.

This dish is penang asam laksa. The asam laksa is too spicy for me. You can see the amount of "Chilli padi" they sprinkled on the top. Those chillies cannot be looked down seriously. Once you mix the whole dish together, you can taste the hotness of this asam laksa.

The chicken maryland is too dry. Although they do not use breast meat, but the chicken is really hard. Not really soft and smoooth. As you see, the chicken is dark in color, so, it may be because they did not use new oil to fried that particular chicken. Nothing much to review about the rest things on the plate as they are nothing special too.

The banana leaf rice, the rice is basically really really full of aroma. The curry, yes...was good too. Tasted strong in curry spices. But, the vegetables available was not too fresh. And they tasted a bit sourish on that day I went to it. Perhaps, it maybe rotten? or they are leftovers? I don't know...So, overall it was not as good as mentioned by others to me.

Tek Sen Restaurant is a very crowded restaurant at Penang. I heard great feedback from people and went to here but it was not as expected by me. This restaurant is mainly all about Chinese cuisine.Sambal Belacan Kangkung
The sambal belacan kangkung is nice looking from the outlook. However, it tasted too salty for me. The belacan is not fragant but are salty. The prawns are all tiny in size and it is not chewy too.
