Youmiqi Cuisine Smile Sep 29, 2015

We have a family dinner to celebrate the monncake festival at You Migi, is kind of Chinese-Shunde cuisine food.

Restaurant appertizer served is something special which is chicken feet and cucumber pickle (marinated in chinese-shunde style) which is yummy.

We started of with Ocean Dragon garoupa braised soup (kind of like a big wok with a thick broath - like the usual steamboat pot), we add on the tiger prawn (very fresh), deep fried beancurd, roasted pork and baby cabbage to the broath. End of the meal we order rice vermicelli to go with the thick broath which is so good taste.

Our meal goes together with stir fried meat with cabbage (RM25) which give a vy good 'wok hei' to the vegetable. Steam tice with preserved meat which looks simple but full of flavour (RM38). The rice goes well with deep fried fish lips.  The captain recommended pan fried vegetable with paste which tasted so good. We also ordered the steam vermicelli roll with preserved vegetable (RM10)

Overall the food are all good with price on above average.

Went to try out this japanese restaurant by using the groupon voucher. The place is not that huge with 2 floors. The lower floor is quite pack with a open kitchen (unfortunately is yakitori bar area- is pretty smoky if you sit near to the bar area). Try out the following on their menu :

1. Chinmi Santen Moriawase (3 small dishes)
2. Teppanyaki Seafood Course
3. Kame (3 types of Sashimi on plate)
4. Cod fish hot pot

Overall the food is fresh and taste wise is pretty good. The sashimi on plate is fresh and the cutting is big. Satisfactory max likelikeloveyummy

The cod fish hot pot is my another favourite...the fish is fresh and cook to the perfect texture.
Teppanyaki Seafood Course is a worth the money set, the set come with good portion of prawn, cuttlefish, chicken, scallop (small one but still good) and vegetable.

1st time dine in experience at this cafe in Kepong. Food wise is ok but can be better if is serve hot enough for the customer. The waiting period from ordering to food arriving is a bit slow. Tried their hawaian chicken (overall portion is good), turkey mushroom soup (sad upset upset as in just can soup with a few slices of ham on top), swiss chicken which tasted pretty good (Well marinate). Ordered the white coffee ice but it tasteless.

Went for a quick dinner after work - 1st time dine in experience here. Place is quiet when i am there (no other diner around). Order a wild mushroom soup and chicken & tuckey sandwich. Both are good. The soup come with 2 slices of small toasted bread. Thick and can taste the mushroom in it. The sandwich is toasted with cheese, come together with fries like and salad. Overall good food.
