Garden Fried Rice - RM 4.90

Garden Fried Rice - RM 4.90

This multi grain fried rice is very healthy as there is about three types of vegetable in it. Even so, the fried rice did not taste as expected as it very hard to eat and it's pretty tasteless due to the dried globs of rice in it. As you see in the photo, there are plentiful of them! I swallowed hard and went on to the next dish. mad This meal cost RM 4.90.
Cock-a-doodle with Orange Rice - RM 12.20

Cock-a-doodle with Orange Rice - RM 12.20

The cock-a-doodle meal comes with a piece of fried chicken, orange rice, green grapes, soy bean jelly and a bottle of Vitagen smile. The orange rice can be better if cooked with kunyit powder. The fried chicken was oily and greasy!mad They should have roasted it like Kenny Roasters!

The cock-a-doodle meal comes with a piece of fried chicken, orange rice, green grapes, soy bean jelly and a bottle of Vitagen smile. The orange rice can be better if cooked with more kunyit powder. The fried chicken was laden with oil and too greasy for me!mad They should have roasted it like Kenny Roasters! Besides that, the chicken served was chicken wings which was difficult to eat, better if they serve breast meat with no bones instead!

Tasty Pork Ribs

Tasty Pork Ribs

The honey pork ribs at Yoke Heng is just simply irresistible. They are served piping hot wrapped in aluminium foil. The ribs are fork tender with a sweet smoky taste to it. Goes extremely well with rice although it's served with very little sauce.
I think it can do better if it comes with more sauce coating the ribs. It was insanely good! I wished I had a bigger stomach for more rice. Price at RM 28 for a large serving which I think it's quite reasonable.

Eggy Wat Tan Hor

Eggy Wat Tan Hor

Of all the noodles that I have ever savoured, this is my No.1 in my food list. One can never have enough of this awesome dish. The kuey teow noodles are coated with a gooey golden egg sauce and savoury making them very flavourful. Shredded pork slices, shrimps, fish cakes & brown sotong are cooked in this sauce bringing out the extra sweetness in the gravy. As you can see, this is clearly an overload of meat and vegetables all covered with the delicious egg sauce. Heavenly feelings every time I eat this, highly recommended to all if you should want to take a ride to Batu Caves to check out this dish.
