Initially I thought the name of the restaurant is 芙蓉生鱼， but nope, it is the name mention above. 芙蓉生鱼 is to show that the original restaurant is from Seremban, and this is their 2nd franchise. 

Overall, the foods were satisfying! We wish to come back for their porridge! As the porridge was sold out when we ordered, we ordered Chinese meal instead. This fresh Yum Mak , seasoning with fried onion and their sauce. Satisfying. This is steam snakehead fish, it known to has a speciall healing effect on the wound, surgery wound. Something worth to mention is that this fish has it's bone removed, so we just grabbed and munch! Curry Fish , no head. we didn't choose head part, because we like to have more flesh. 
Their curry is so fresh, so as their fish, can feel that the curry has been meticulously prepared , due to it's flavourful sensation, and not too spicy. Last but not least, this is the interior of the shop. 

Verdict:
LIterally fresh food served, efficient table waiting time. Wish to come back for their porridge

There were 4 of us (adult) going out for dinner on usual day. We often ordered this combo set. It is RM 50 that contain 4 dishes, 4 chinese tea, and 4 white rice.

Frankly speaking, there isn't a lot of chinese restaurant in Kemaman, hence the chance we eat in the same restoran is very very HIGH, unlike those in KL, PJ area.  I miss PJ food~~ 

OKay, anyway, this restaurant has the highest chance that we will eat repeatly, because it's relatively afforable, and delicious. The food is relatively heavy in term of seasoning btw. So you are those who eat lightly, you might not like this. 

But our family enjoyed the meal. Macao Kam Heng Fish. 

Special right? Despite the average environment, their food is quite delicious , and cater to fit Chinese who love to eat carbo, and dishes that is fulfilling. 

The chef first fried the macao fish, then prepared the sauce separately. The sauce itself is quite full-flavour that it elevated our appetite to eat it. that 4 of us voted it has the most delicious among the 4. Simmered Pork

IT is a bit briny to fit our taste. Kangkung with Belacan

YOu will seldom go wrong with the belacan sauce. So this dishes is our favourite too! Bitterground FU Yong egg

This is a restaurant by a young husband and wife. I can't stop praising about their creativity.
My brother is someone who don't eat bitter. but this bitterground, added in a small amout into egg, with the sweet bbq pork , it is less bitter than the usual one. And the onion also a sweet one. So it's delicious overall. SO here is the  menu that we ordered.   Total paid is RM 51.20. THat is worthy considered how delicious it was.

you happen to be at kemaman & 
you don't find any food to eat &
you want something fulfilling and carbohydrating & 
you are bored of eating STUFF crab (which is a signature in Kemaman)

Hi Kemamanian!! There is a new floating cafe opening here in Kemaman!! Just newly open for around 1 week only. I have been there for twice. I am so excited , feel like want to blurt everything now. ~~ But let my pics talk us =D First glance at the restaurant. Purposely took this angle so that the entire ...roof can be shoot in. The food that we order. BTW, the hot chocolate is not in the current menu. CY just ordered it. Plain water is for free of course, and bottomless. And for 2 times our patronise there, no GST was charged. Carbonara Rm 13.30

Carbonara always my favourite. Not that watery, but a bit sticky. I like how it garnish with mushroom! We used like 5 mins to take photo before try on it. End up, the carbonara was a little chill, personally feel that the taste would be more flavourful while eating hot. Overall, it's pleasantly common delicious.

One of the reason that I like here, because the carbonara here is cheaper Rm 7 than one of the restaurant in Kemaman. Though both were equally good, and same portion =D Marinara Chicken Pasta RM 15.30

Marinara refer to Marinara Sauce, an Italian sauce made with tomato, garlic, herbs and onion. (source from Wikipedia) . Quattro Cheese Salami Pizze Rm24.30

The 4 cheeses are mozzarella cheese, gouda, , Cheddar and parmesean. topping on Beef salami strip. The combination of all the cheeses and the marinara sauce is really yum! Like taste heavily flavourful. But the crust of the pizza is quite hard. Even biscuit is crunchier than the crust. Later on I just found out that I can actually choose the hand tossed which is like the pizza hut one. This one is just to show how thin is the hard crust ~~ LOL Special menu of the day. Strawberry chocolate pie!!! I usually go to fridge to see what is the dessert of the day. Normally, just 1 type of dessert.and make new friends too! Meet Peeboo and Shane Leong(right). He is a tattoo artist in Kemaman. If you want to see his masterpiece, you can go to @shanetattoostudio in instagram. His drawing is quite complex, complicated, and gothic and cute!

Okay, now the environment of the restaurant. Open kitchen style, LIke! Just notice there is a menu on board. I usually just order from menu booklist. The right side one is the fridge that I went to see what's the dessert available. Floating restaurant. Literally FLOATING, cause the restaurant will sway when huge wave or when it's going to rain soon. Really like the environment of the restaurant. Chilly and breezy environment.





Word from Chef Ahmad

Chef Ahmad has like 15 years experience in cooking. This is the 8th restaurant he has been work for, and he previously help to start-up a new restaurant , kind of like consultant, and give training to the employee also.Chef Ahmad with the modern gas-pizza oven. This is where our pizza was burnt before it served! I didnt eat the lamb, but he just being friendly show me what's is signature in Kayak Cafe, and how this were home-made. The dishes that he recommended? Combo Jerk (Rm24.30)

Verdict:

Generally, this restaurant would be a new chillax point for me in Kemaman, as there is really not much eatery at night, Most of the time, it would be limited to either choice A or B, and that's all. The opening of this new restaurant open a more choice for us while chillax or YUm Cha. Serving Italian cuisine. Would recommend to add on more snack to munch.

Price range from Rm 3 - 25 per person.

Like when I just ordered the snack, it cost me Rm 4.

When I ordered spagetti and pizza, it cost me Rm 26 to share with my partner.

For a small town like Kemaman, a small district in Terengganu. Perhaps affected by the number of chinese residents and the location , which is in East Coast. A place like this really fancy the Kemamanian(or perhaps me only ) for a weekend dinner.

Anyway, I really glad that Kemaman has a lot of raising classic restaurant that worth for you to pay visit nowadays. Don't compare it with Manhattnan of Malaysia like Penang, or KL. But trust me, it's a lot better nowadays compare to ... my high school time!

I am still very contented with some Malay food that found only in Kemaman here. Nasi Minyak, Nasi Dagang, Keropok Lepok, just to name a few. Something I could hardly found it anywhere other than East Coast Area.

So, yes, If you are reading this, and if you plan to open a new bistro, restaurant . Kemaman is a nice place as there are still a lot of market here! LOL

Before I eventually go off the topic again. Steven's coffee house is really an ideal place for weekend dinner. Til this day, my family will still regularly pay visit to Steven on Friday when my mom doesn't cook.

What I like about this restaurant is
1. it has air-cond
2. it is spacious
3. the food are delicious, not to say very very delicious. But above average~~~
4. the price wise is okay. (Not sure whether it has gov tax or service charge nowadays, as I didn't back to my hometown for sometime)I will try to update this restaurant from time to time as I always visit there

TOm Yam soup
just like any other restaurant, it has 2 options between chicken and seafood. Not sure whether it's make out of powder or own cook, cause it has it's own sweetness also. It would be Steven's signature Fried Rice when top up with a piece of Fried Chicken. Rm10.50 if not mistaken. My dad always order their signature fried rice as it make him full and finish with a smile on face =)

not to say very tasty.....perhaps....dining with family + spacious environment + air-cond + relax = NICE lor~~~ Alright..I know it's very subjective, but I don't know why I insist you to pay a visit here. Perhaps because it's mostly most Chinese Kemamanian do for dinner, that's why you should also for a Kemaman-like experience.Chicken Chop  
brocolli, Grill Chicken Chop, French Fried, a favourite sause of yours (black pepper, mushroom, and I-forget -what -it-is ), the salad also extraordinary nice =)I always like to include Menu's pic not only for own reference, but also for public reference. I mean..it's something not bias to show.It totally depends on you to judge it, not by the reviewer. But I will still critique on it lar. For me, it's nice!
