They serve good selection of food like the freshly baked signatures pretzels, thick toasts and tortilla, pasta, western and Asian delights, soup and salads, sandwiches and burgers. They also serve coffee, tea and juice. The food costs from RM 5 to RM 20. Here are some of the items on the menu with price.

The soup of the day when we visited was minestrone soup. In Chilla Cup, do expect the top-up soup to be at the generous portion that is somewhat we believe the portion you will get at full price. The soup was very thick with plenty of vegetables and pasta. It tasted flavourful and sour but appetizing. Your stomach might be filled full with just the soup if you are a small eater, but it is very satisfying.

Al-fungi tortilla, Hawaiian tortilla and Nasi Goreng Kampung with Honey Paprika Chicken were the main course we ordered. At the price of RM 9.90, the nasi goreng kampong set comes with a piece of honey paprika chicken and a drink, The nasi goreng is tasty! The Al-fungi tortilla set and the ala-carte Hawaiian tortilla was about RM 13 – RM 15. Feeling expensive? Not at all! After trying the first bite, it was totally value for money! The tortilla was cheesy, crispy and full of toppings. See it for yourself here...

Don't forget to always seal your meal with a nice cup of coffee. They do brew good coffee, so don’t forget to try it out when you are there.

They practise self-service when it comes to ordering the food and drinks. We ordered 2 set meals and an ala carte tortilla from the menu that came with a drink each and a top-up of soup of the day.

Cosy Place to Enjoy and Eat Smile Oct 03, 2013

Le Pollidor Cafe in Bandar Puteri, Puchong is at the first floor, above the Home Town steamboat restaurant and shares half of the shop lot with a hair salon. More at http://relishbyrae.blogspot.com/2013/09/le-pallidor-cafe-bandar-puteri-puchong.html

It is a cosy café for hang out and gathering with friends or even just to spend time on your own. The café is quiet and spacious with soothing music constantly playing. With free WIFI available, it is for sure a good place if you need to surf or work. They offer multiple seating options in the café to suit you, varying from a small table for four, sofas or banquette near the large windows where you can enjoy the view.

Le Pollidor Café offers both western and local food as well as coffee, tea and other beverages. You will be surprised in the price that you have to pay for what they can offer, whether it is the comfortable setting or the food.

It is definitely the place I would go for brunch or dinner. I have previously tried out the noodles in soup, which is one of the local foods they serve. The soup is flavourful with plenty of side dishes like fish ball, fish cakes, vegetables and shredded chicken, and it cost only less than RM 10.

This time I had something light, a club sandwich with a cup of latte. The club sandwich came in quite big portion for me wanting something light and cost me about RM 16 while the price for the latte is quite standard, at about RM 8.

Yummy and Homey Yong Tau Fu Smile Sep 11, 2013
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Yong Tau Fu

Puchong is a place so famous of food, but like other places, you can find food in everywhere but you might have to spend some effort to get a really good one.

Ampang, Jalan Ipoh and Puchong are among the places that are famous for Yong Tau Fu (YTF) in Klang Valley. You might have heard of Puchong Batu 14 Yong Tau Fu, which is always packed with people and traffic as it is just opposite a primary school.

Well, if you are a YTF fans, like me, there is an air-conditioned restaurant serving good YTF plus chee cheung fun (flat rice noodles in cantonese) in Bandar Puteri Puchong. The portion and soup base is very much similar to the Batu 14 YTF, but their chee cheung fun and the taste of other home cook food are something I would crave for.

They have recently moved from Jalan Puteri 2/4 to Jalan Puteri 2/2, Bandar Puteri Puchong.

They have assorted raw vegetables and bean curd on a long table for your pick. It is a typical home-style chinese restaurant without much wow effect, but it is quite clean and comfortable to dine in.

Ta-da! It's the YTF and vegetables in soup. The choices range from bean curd, fu-chok, lady's fingers, brinjal, fish ball, dumpling, pork skin, bitter guard and many more. They even have cabbage wrap! The fish paste is pure and fresh.

And this is the chee cheung fun I have been talking about. The soft and thin flat rice noodles is topped with sesame abd specially made sauce that makes it so delicious. The best part of the specially made sauce is the shrimp paste that instantly fills your mouth with fragrant and bright taste of shrimp. Heaven! It could be better if they could serve the noodles slightly warmer, but I still like it even it's a little cold.

If you are going in a group and would like to try a little of everything, you can try the other dishes like curry chicken and assam stingray. I bet you would wonder if your mama has been cooking for you in the kitchen. So homey!

Stadt’s menu is fairly extensive with variety of selections from pork, chicken, lamb, pasta, sausages and not forgetting beer, of course.

I have to say the pork knuckle is good. The skin is crispy, yet the meat is juicy and tender on the inside, not overdone. The pork chop is not bad, either, and it is reasonably priced at about RM 22.90. You might want to give these a try if you haven’t. I did not take any photos on these but here are some from Stadt’s website.

I went there again for dinner and I had no pork this time, but lamb boneless meat, which is braised lamb, just without bone. Again, the chief didn’t disappoint me this time, the braised lamb is tender, but it could be better if it was braised slightly longer. It still tastes a little gamy but I don’t mind at all as I like it.

If you are considering to pay a visit to this bistro and not sure what you want to have, go for the pork. After all, that's why you would go to a German bistro, isn't it?
