Back to Sunshine Market for dinner. Looked around and went back to my regular mixed rice stall. Took the black sauce chicken, lady's finger & egg. The chicken is nice but taste very salty if just eaten by itself. The lady's finger is just the normal stir fried type with slices of carrot. Taste okay. The egg, well, just normal fried egg. The yolk is fully cooked but I am fine eating it either way. Oh yeah, it comes with free soup. I think it's radish soup. It could do with less salt.

Went to Sunshine Market for breakfast without knowing what to eat. Looked around and saw the hokkien mee stall. It's been decided. Ordered "Hokkein cham Loh, kana mee, mai hon chiu", that's "Hokkein Mee + Loh Mee (mix both soup), mee only, no chili." It comes with an egg, bean sprouts & some shrimps. I ended up drinking all the soup, cleared the whole bowl. Guess that sums my the taste of it...

I like this place for it's home like environment & the nice food (of course!). We ordered 4 dishes for 3 person, the portion is just nice.Dish 1: Vietnam Chicken. I do not know how to describe the taste & texture of it. The closest is probably sweet & sour pork BUT it's salty, not sweet/sour. Very nicely done. Love it.
Dish 2: Vegetable. I do not know what's the name but it was recommended by the boss & it has a poster of it near the entrance. It's purely leaf and none of the hard stem. Cooked with bean curd with some gravy.Dish 3: Seafood Otak-otak. My favourite dish. Cooked with eggs, prawns & squid. Finger. Lickin'. Good.
Dish 4: Claypot Bean Curd. Good mixture of bean curd, mushrooms. carrot & some vegetables. Good for mixing the gravy with rice

I haven't been to this restaurant in a very long time, probably more than a year. Glad to see it's still the same. It's a dai char type of restaurant but a lot of their customer opt for their rice sets which consist of the choice of meat/rice & a drink. I ordered my favourite dish, sweet & sour pork rice & iced chrysanthemum tea. The portion is bigger than most places I go to & it comes with an egg (sunny side up). Nothing spectacular about the taste but I'll say it's above average. It has a lot of sauce too, always a good thing

I just ate biscuits during lunch because I wasn't really hungry & didn't know what to eat. However what I did know is that I will get hungry later in the afternoon & I'm gonna cure it with BlackBall!Ordered 'Jiu Fen' Yam Balls Grass Jelly Ice (code: B1). This is my preferred dessert as compared to the BlackBall Signature, purely because I do not take red beans. It is a mixture of grass jelly, pearls, yam balls, sweet potato balls & ice. It is just delicious & refreshing. It is served with a creamer but I've never tried putting it in. I'm just not adventurous...
