Korean Fried Chicken Smile Aug 29, 2013

Korean fried chicken is actually very tasty and you won't feel 'geli' after eating a lot of it because they have their secret recipe to marinate it.If you are staying in Mont Kiara or Sri Hartamas area, they do provide delivery service.

The environment of this restaurant is what I like the most. They have this cubical where you could have a little of your privacytongue

Service is very good!

Red Velvet Cake Cry Aug 29, 2013

People strongly recommended this red velvet cake of Mukha to me and yesterday, i finally got a chance to pay Mukha a visit.

Mukha has a nice old style interior with hand-writing blackboard menu which get my attention very much.

The red velvet cake, I'm a bit disappointed with it. It's just too sweet and dry. For me, it's just a piece of colouring cake. That's all. The coffee wasn't taste good as well.

It would be a cozy place to go if the waiters shut their big mouth up while working. They spoke and laughed so loud that we can't even calm our emotion down to relax. sad

This is chicken spicy soup.
I am not a chicken meat lover because of the texture and smell of the meat. But I like this chicken soup. Please do not think that you wanna drink all the spicy soup. There are a few different types of soup in Korean food. This is not like the Chinese chicken soup where you drink all the soup and leave the meat behind. You should eat the meat together with the soup.

When you are about to finish it, tell the waiter that you want to have Bokkeum Bab(fried rice). They will fry it on the pot together with the remaining soup just now. It is the korean style of eating it. So do not eat too much of white rice at the beginning. Save some space for your stomach for the delicious fried rice.

Gam Ja Tang (감자탕) Smile Aug 17, 2013

Umma Son means 'mother's hand'. While preparing food, Korean use hand(fingers) more than tools to mix the ingredients before cooking.
The lady boss of the restaurant is really nice and you will feel like eating at a Korean home, just like the feeling of the name of the restaurant.

Come to the food.
I was brought to a famous Gam Ja Tang restaurant in Korea by my Korean friends. And I miss the taste so much that I thought I wouldn't have a chance to eat the same thing again in Malaysia. But I found it! It is in Umma Son!

If you would like to have the good original taste, please tell them you want spicy.

'Gam Ja' means potato. But it is actually a pork bone spicy soup with not many potato.

Must try it if you go Umma Son!

A Relaxing Afternoon Smile Aug 01, 2013

Green Tea Pudding
Green tea and red bean are the best couple ever. The smooth texture of the pudding added with the soy drink has brought out the perfect taste of green tea + soy + red bean.
If not mistaken, it is the cheapest desert of Poco with a super small portion. But it is just nice for a girl small stomach after the main course.
Do make sure that you eat it slowly to taste it thoroughly. And you will then know why this small thing can bring you unexpected happiness.smile
