yu shang Smile Aug 14, 2013

This is the dish that you probably will have during or before the Chinese New Year. - Yu Shang,

Who would think that i take this in a japanese restaurant - Sushi King

Every year Sushi King will be doing different promotion on yu shang but this is the first time i try it here, although it looks simple but the salmon slide that they have were really fresh - maybe because they have the good stock with them

if i were to rate this i would give 9/10

This is the first dish that were serve during our visit to shang palace at shangri la hotel.

At first i thought that we will be going to have the whole duck as a dish, but not to i know we were only served the skin of the peking duck.

The Peking duck were cut in thin pieces and served in a wrap with fresh greens, my high expectations were met.

The duck was as perfectly cooked as it looked, straddling the thin line between dry and underdone. The crispness of the skin matched the crunch of the veggies, and the savory juices were consistent from the skin down through the cut of duck meat

if i were to rate this i would give 9/10

Tou fu fa Smile Dec 27, 2013

I always like to try different type of tau fu fa at different restaurant, but normally you will only saw this only at Chinese restaurant menu. This was served before our main dish, which I think is not appropriate as this was the desert, the waitress should ask us whether we want it to be serve now.

Although the service were not up to our expectation but still I like this tau fu fa. It is hard to find this type of smooth tau fu fa. Besides that they know not everyone of us would like it to be too sweet they provide us with some sugar syrup where we can add in ourself.

If I were to rate this I would give 9/10

Tiramisu cake OK Dec 09, 2013

This is one of the high end bakery located at Bangsar somewhere near Bangsar village shopping complex. What so special about this bakery is where their downstair is actually a cafe, is you want to just have a glass of drink they will recommend you to sit upstairs.

Besides that downstairs is a none smoking area and upstairs is a smoking area. We actually came here to celebrate one of my friend's birthday so we had order a whole tiramisu cake - which is quite costly

It taste like any normal tiramisu cake but to me it is too sweet as they make it with caramel syrup. the cake is still consider okie texture is soft.

if i going to rate this i would give 8/10

Spending per head: Approximately RM150

fried mee Smile Dec 05, 2013

I am one of those who does not really like the taste of the mee but this was an exceptional for me. I always like to order this fried mee at Dragon-i it just taste different compare to those that u eat outside.

It looks simple but nice, especially the mushroom that they use. If u have not cook long enough the mushroom will not tender, but if u cook too long the mee will be too soft, so you need to be good in how to prepare the mushroom before you cook it with the mee.

The dish here do not taste too salty, it just nice - except the look of it look like those that you can get in a hawker stall.

If were to rate this i would give 8/10
