Was going around Petaling Jaya in the afternoon hunting for lunch and found this restaurant. first visit, giving it a try. look at the menu, there are not much varieties on the menu, but it is kinda of delicious. i am a salmon lover, therefore i ordered the Salmon Fish Noodle.

the taste of the soup is good. very tasty. personally, i added on more pepper into the soup to make it more spicy and to enriched the taste. as option, some people may not want to add on with the fresh milk. you can tell them not to add on.

my bowl of noodle is very sastisfied. creammy, delicious, tasty. the salmon meat is fresh and thick. and the portion is large enough to fill up my tummy. (for the ladies, it maybe consider too large).

RM15.90 per bowl. what say you? i think the price is quite reasonable. happy, and will revisit for sure smile

lately i always visiting this cafe, Boston. they have many outlets in Klang Valley. I heard that they are going to open in Hong Kong too.

usually i will be sitting here to kill time, to do some of my computing work. from time to time, they will have some promotion on their Seasonal Menu. the one that i love the most is the Extra Large glass of Bos Tea. it is the iced jasmine tea.

as you can see the size from the photo, this huge glass of tea is just for RM6.90. and sometime i do sit here for the whole day for just one drink.

the place is with air-cond, free WiFi, and most of the seats are equipped with power socket points. so i can charge my laptop and my phone.

i have been to a few of their outlets, and this outlet seem has a better service from the staffs. they are friendly and helpful. some time they will even jokes with you.

if you are out of idea what to order, they will offer you with some suggestions and recommendations.
this is a place that you will feel comfortable, and wants to come back.

This restaurant is recommended by my friend, Ah Boon. It is located near to his hometown in Taman Sentosa, Klang.

When I arrived to the restaurant, the place is full house. The corridor outside the restaurant as well has set up with the huge canopy to occupy the large crowds for this festive season, the Chinese New Year holiday break.

While getting a table for myself, i browsing the food on people’s table. The food seem good and delicious. Almost every table ordered the fried crabs, fish, prawns cooked in coconut shell, ballacan kang-kung. Those must be the famous dishes for this restaurant.

After talking with my friend, Ah Boon and his wife, Siow Ling. They said to me, beside those dishes, the crab-meat beancurd soup, sweet-sour-sauce fried fish, otak-otak, steamed clams, and grilled ray fish are also the choice of chef.

So, we ordered those and try. It is simply great. The grilled fish is juicy, so tasty, and yet not too spicy. The beancurd soup is taste similar to those shark-fin soup, but the taste is much different and better than those big-chinese-restaurants, and 5-star chinese kitchen. Great Job!!

The other dishes that we ordered are good too. I wonder who is the cook, and wanted to visit their kitchen. But my friend blocked me from doing it. Maybe next time I will go and check out the kitchen, when there are lesser patrons.
Oh ya, I forgot something…very important!! The place and foods are good, but how’s the bill going to be? Let’s wait and see…
The bill total is reasonable (I can even say, very afforable. Less than RM30 / USD10 per head). And all of us are so full.
Go yourself and try it, as I always say, I do not simply give out my recommendation in food. Trust me!

|| Otak-otak: RM13 || Sweet&Sour Fish (for 5 pax): RM39 || Grilled Ray Fish (small): RM15 ||

Nice One Fried Rice Smile Jul 12, 2013

Nice One Fried Rice

Nice One Fried Rice

Was recommended by a business partner, and we went there for our lunch break. He strongly recommends to me their signature food, the NICE ONE Fried Rice.

I started to smell the fragrance of the fried rice when the waiter is approaching my table. as you can look from the photo, the fried rice is very tempting in its look. i remembered once that one of a Sous Chef mentioned to me, it is not easy to master a plate of fried rice which is taste good with every single bite.

i can say the chef of Nice One Restaurant managed to handle it quite well. you can still clearly see the rice in the shape, overall it is not oily, the serving portion is huge for a single person, the taste is good with the fragrant smell. the eggs are welly spreaded out evenly in little pieces blended with the rice.

personally, i preferred it to be eat while it is still wok hot and with some chili-padi.

the fried eggs, is an option. even the fried eggs is so fine with the over-burned crispy egdes. hehe... mama-mia!

the one thing that i dislike about this eating place, is the car parking issue. you may have to park a little bit further and walk over to the restaurant.
