Mixed Rice OK Sep 24, 2013

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Mixed rice

Botak Vip Mixed Rice is located in Dataran Sunway Kota Damansara, same row as Bank Simpanan Nasional. From the restaurant name, obviously it is selling mixed rice. There are plenty choice of dishes to choose from which include vegetables, fish, pork, chicken, tou fu and many more. You can pick most of the dishes yourself, but for vegetables, you may need to request the waiter help we cannot reach the tray. The restaurant interior is simple, but the dishes counter look clean and tidy. Beside mixed rice, they also serve different kinds of fried noodles and fried rices. We have order 2 mixed rice for take away. One of the mixed rice has stir fried lady fingers, stir fried cauliflower and minced pork japanese tou fu. Another mixed rice has stir fried lady fingers, minced pork potato, sesame sweet sauce chicken and pork ball. Overall, I think the mixed rice is just normal, nothing much to shout out, but the price is quite reasonable.

One of the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf branch is located at Ground Floor Highstreet of 1 Utama Shopping Centre. Herbert B. Hyman started The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf ® in 1963 with a dedication to excellence and quality, and his efforts made him the founding father of gourmet coffee in California. Currently Coffee Bean has 50 outlets all over Malaysia. It has a nice environment for you to dine in, enjoy cup of coffee while browsing web using their free WIFI. The also put up some lovely song for you to relax. After shopping in One Utama, I have decided to take a break a Coffee Bean. I have ordered Original Mocha Iced Blended. The drink was so nice and very refreshing. For your information, you are entitled to discount on any beverages if you have any Citibank credit card and the discount amount depends on type of Citibank credit card that you are holding.

Asia Café is one of the Klang Valley’s premier food court which located at Subang Jaya’s most densed commercial centre, SS15. It offers an arrays of food and beverages from all over the globe that includes Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Western, and Middle Eastern Cuisines. It is indeed the most well known locations in Subang Jaya for people to meet and watch football, where the matches are displayed over 2 projectors and many elevated plasma television. There are plenty of seats to accommodate large group. You also can choose to sit outside the food court under a big tree. But beware of the parking, usually it is hard to get a parking nearby this food court. There is an open space car park beside the food court, but normally is full. I have ordered Sarawak Noodle. It comes with pork balls, minced pork, char siew and fu zuk. The noodle is stringy but overall the taste is just normal.

Sam Kan Chong has come a long way since the world war 2 in Malaya. It used to be a little shop in Kuala Lumpur in between 2 other shops, hence locals named it as Sam Kan Chong which means 3 Adjacent shops. The restaurant design is moderate. I have ordered 3JC Homemade Noodle in Soup. You can choose from 5 type of mee, which is Homemade Noodle, Kuay Teow, Lo See Fun, Bihun, or mix. I would recommend the home made noodle as it is more chewy compare with the nomal yellow noodle. The noodles comes with black sausage aka blood sausage, topped with some minced pork and 6 pieces of meat balls. I am satisfied with the noodles here, the ingredient is fresh, soup is nice and the homemade noodle is chewy. Overall, I think the food here is good and the price is reasonable.
