Sizzling Otak-Otak Smile Sep 29, 2013

Lala Chong is one of the famous Chinese Seafood Restaurant in Ara Damansara. The location is not too hard to find, just open up your "WAZE" and type "Lala Chong" and it will lead you the way. They have a huge car park space and the restaurant is separated into 2 floors, first floor is open space concept while second floor is air-conditioned room(just guessing). I reached there around 6pm, so still not much crowd. I have ordered Sizzling Otak-Otak. The dish is served in hot piping sizzling. 12 pieces of otak-otak are placed on top of a banana leaf. The taste is good, not so spicy, definitely a new dish for me in Chinese seafood restaurant.

冬瓜龙眼海底椰 Smile Sep 29, 2013

One of the Dragon-I branch is located at Ground Floor, Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall. It is a Shanghainese Restaurant where it offers signature dishes such as xiao long bao (Shanghainese steamed meat dumplings) and la mian (hand-pulled noodles), traditional dishes proudly preserved by the Chinese over thousand of years. The environment setting really make you feel like you are in a modern Chinese restaurant. We have ordered 茉莉仙子 & 冬瓜龙眼海底椰 as our drink. 茉莉仙子 basically is a jasmine tea while 冬瓜龙眼海底椰 is a Chinese herbal tea that consists of dried longan, winter melon and sea coconut. The drink taste good, but a bit expensive.

Dragon-I environment setting really make you feel like you are in a modern chinese restaurant. They even put some Terracotta Army along the queuing corridor. Normally is crowded during weekend and they will give you a number when queuing up. I only waited around 15 minutes during my visit. I have ordered Yam Pastry as my dessert. It comes with 2 pieces. The outer pastry skin is very crispy and the yam filling inside is very yummy. RM6 for 2 pieces is worth the money.

Normally is crowded during weekend and they will give you a number when queuing up. I only waited around 15 minutes during my visit. I have ordered 金银蛋芫菜. It is basically spinach soup which cooked together with egg and century egg. It is tempting and smells good when they served the dish, too bad too salty. Very disappointed that such high end restaurant didn't has this simple dish cook well. Not recommend to order this dish.

The chicken is cooked with Chinese famous rice wine until the sauce become dry and adsorbed into the chicken. It served with piping hot claypot and it is really delicious.
