One of the Lammeeya branch is located at Damansara Uptown. As per their restaurant name, it is specialise in Lam Mee, basically is thick yellow noodle cooked is thick gravy made from the stock of prawns and chicken. The restaurant has a nice environment setting where they use white as their main colour. Once you entered the restaurant, you can see their wallpaper are painter with the menu. One of the wall is showing a photo of original lam mee and enlighten patrons that this is what you get if you order it. I have ordered Original Lam Mee with thin mee. I think their food is really presentable and is really tempting you once they serve the food. The ingredients include prawn, chicken slice and pork ball where all of them are nice. The mee is very stringy and fresh. Overall, I think the food is nice and worth the money.

Roti 3 Rasa Smile Sep 24, 2013

Categories : Malaysian variety | Restaurant

One of the Original Kayu Nasi Kandar branch is located at Aman Suria Damansara. It started out with a stall at a coffee shop in SS2 Chow Yang here back in 1974 and grew to become one of the most popular “Mamak” restaurants in Klang Valley and Penang. Today, from the little stall around the corner, many such eateries have envolved into much bigger establishments with some owning chains of restaurants that carry same name. Nasi Kandar had its humble origins in Penang Island, Nasi’ means rice in Malay while ‘Kandar’ refers to a formidable stick that is slung across one’s shoulder to carry heavy objects securely hung on both ends of the stick. Their signature dish of course is Nasi Kandar, Roti Tissue, Lassi drink and Cheese Naan. Today morning, I have decided to stop by here for breakfast. I have ordered Roti 3 Rasa ( Egg, Planta & Kaya) and Teh Tarik. The roti is so tasty, especially when dip inside the dal and I think this is the only "Mamak" that offers this type of roti. The teh tarik is smooth which give you the kick to start the morning. Overall, the food is expensive compare with other normal mamak shop. But with their quality of food and nice environment, I think is worth the money.

One of the Sushi Zanmai branch is located at Third Floor of The Gardens, Mid Valley City. It is a Conveyor-belt Sushi Restaurant where the prepared sushi is put on the conveyor belt just located beside the table. Once you find the sushi you want, just take from the conveyor bely and enjoy the sushi, very convenience. But not every table is located beside the conveyor belt. Colour plate starts from RM1.80. They provide more than 100 assortments of sushi and 100 varieties of cooked food that are authentically Japanese. Do go there early to avoid long queue. We have ordered Inari Tuna Salad & Tamago Mentai ( Sushi with some sort of sauce on top the egg), Inari and Cranky Salmon Maki. All the sushi we ordered are simply amazing and delicious. Overall, I think the food here is worth the money.

Watami Miso Ramen Smile Sep 24, 2013

One of the Watami Japanese Casual Restaurant is located at Level 1, Paradigm Mall. It was established in 1984 and is the leading brand under the Watami Group with over 600 shops worldwide in Japan, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Singapore. Watami is the original creator of the “Ishokuya” dining concept in Japan, one that features the delights of modern Japanese cuisine, which include Watami’s original dishes and signature beverages. It is a new type of tavern that concentrates on providing food with less emphasis on alcohol at affordable prices. It serves delicious Japanese food and drinks in a comfortable atmosphere. The dining environment is good for causal gathering and family. I have ordered Watami Miso Ramen. The Ramen is really nice, fresh and stringy, the Miso soup taste good and the pork slices are simply excellent. The green tea here is refillable. The price is a bit expensive, but I think it is worth the money due to its food quality and nice environment.

Grass Jelly Best Seller Smile Sep 24, 2013

Categories : Taiwanese | Stall / Warung | Desserts

One of the Snowflake branch is located at Level 3 of Mid Valley Megamall, near to Nike Shop. Snowflake use the best, most natural and freshest ingredients to make the desserts. They source only the best products and suppliers locally and overseas to ensure the highest standards in our desserts. All their ingredients are then carefully cleaned, cooked for hours (sometimes days) and handmade into our delicious products like grass jelly, soya bean milk, tou hua, taroballs and our great range of bean toppings. I have ordered
Grass Jelly Best Seller. Upon ordered, I was given a Beeping UFO. Once the dessert is ready, the LED will flash and you will need to go to the counter to collect your dessert and return the UFO. The combination of Grass Jelly and Taroballs is really nice and refreshing. There are plenty snowflake series to choose from, next time I will try Tohua Series.
