金银蛋芫菜 Cry Sep 29, 2013   (Related Review)

Dragon-I environment setting really make you feel like you are in a modern chinese restaurant. They even put some Terracotta Army along the queuing corridor. Normally is crowded during weekend and they will give you a number when queuing up. I only waited around 15 minutes during my visit. I have ordered 金银蛋芫菜. It is basically spinach soup which cooked together with egg and century egg. It is tempting and smells good when they served the dish, too bad too salty. Very disappointed that such high end restaurant didn't has this simple dish cook well. Not recommend to order this dish.

Traditional Recipe Restaurant serves variety type of Chinese delicacies. They are well-known for their special hand made noodles (Pan Mee). Beside this, they also serve rice, porridge, soup, dumplings and side dishes. Currently they have two branches in Kota Damansara and Kuchai Lama. I have ordered Lor Pan Mee. It consists of 2 type of noodles, the normal white colour pan mee and green colour spinach pan mee. It is cooked in thick dark gravy. The noodle is fresh and nice, but the gravy is not so tasty. I won't recommend this noodle if you pay a visit here.

Melon Bun Cry Sep 16, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Stall / Warung | Bakery / Cake / Kuih

Komugi Bakery is located at Lower Ground 2 of Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall, near the ice skating ring. It is just opened in Arpil 2013. It showcases the best of Japanese café culture and traditional French baking. Some of their signature pastry are Hanjuku Cheese Cakes, Hokkaido Cheese Tarts, Matcha Red Bean Swiss Roll, Apple Cream Cheese Danish ..etc. Once you enter the bakery shop, you can see plenty unique pastry that cannot find in normal bakery shop. Since this is the first we heard of this bakery shop, so have decided to try their pastry. We have bought Melon Bun and Mini Croissant. Although this bakery is quite famous, but I am a bit disappointed with the management here. The price tag of the Melon Bun stated RM2.20, but the cashier charge me RM3. When I complaint to the cashier, she called up her supervisor to verify. But what the supervisor told here is that the bread is RM3, follow the system, no a single apology to the customer and he walked away. End up the cashier apologise to me saying they have put the wrong price tag. it is not because of the 80 cents, but I feel like being cheated. The bread taste is really so so only, the texture a bit hard. May be I should try out their other branch in Pavillion.

One of the Auntie Anne's branch is located at Ground Floor, Jusco Delica of 1-Utama Shopping Centre (Old Wing), Is is an award winning US-based company which specialising in soft pretzels (a type of baked food made from dough in soft and hard varieties and savory or sweet flavors in a unique knot-like shape). It had become the global front runner in pretzel industry. Beside pretzel, they also offer Pretzel dogs, Pretzel Stix, Drinks and Dips. After shopping in Jusco, I have decided to stop by at auntie Anne's to buy pretzel as supper. I have bought Caramel Almond Pretzel (tastefully coated with
toasted Almond toffee crunch, together with signature Caramel dip). However, I am not satisfy with the pretzel at this branch. It is not crispy at all and the texture is quite hard. Next time should try the branch in new wing.

Strawberry Chocolate Milk Tea Cry Sep 15, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Juices / Bubble Tea / Tea / Yogurt

OCHADO is located at Lower Ground 2 of Sunway Pyramid. OCHADO is derived from two Japanese words – OCHA and CHADO. OCHA means ‘tea’, while CHADO is used to describe the 'Way of Tea’ or also known as 'Japanese tea ceremony'. OCHADO is just another famous bubble tea drink chain beside Chatime. One of their signature drink is Pop Egg Milk Tea. Each bite of pop egg will bring a burst of caramel coffee flavor where this is a new fun way of drinking milk tea, unlike the usual one that put black pearl in it. But, this time I didn't order this, I have ordered something special called Strawberry Chocolate Milk Tea. Sound special, but this is just a chocolate milk tea which added in some strawberry jam. The taste is unique. but I wouldn't recommend this milk tea if some one not able to accept some new unique taste.
