Spicy Linguine Aglio E Olio OK Sep 18, 2013

Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Restaurant

Fa-Ying by Rama V is a new concept restaurant from the multi award-winning Rama V Fine Thai Cuisine, Kuala Lumpur’s connoisseurs of fine Thai cuisine which present a new modern style of enjoying Thai food in a casual chic setting. During weekdays from 12pm to 5pm, they offers 7 choices of set lunch at the price of RM14.90 nett. All the set lunch comes with a drink (Strawberry Cooler) and a dessert (cake) or soup of the day ( Tom Yam Soup). I have ordered Spicy Linguine Aglio E Olio with Garlic Chicken and Coriander. Too bad the food quality is not there, the Aglio Olio is tasteless and vey oily. May be should try their ala carte.

Seafood Tom Yam Fried Rice OK Sep 18, 2013

Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Restaurant

Fa Ying Thai Restaurant is located at The Boulevard at Paradigm Mall, the semi-outdoor area. It’s pretty much open air while still sheltered from the harshest of elements. During weekdays from 12pm to 5pm, they offers 7 choices of set lunch at the price of RM14.90 nett. All the set lunch comes with a drink (Strawberry Cooler) and a dessert (cake) or soup of the day ( Tom Yam Soup). I have ordered Seafood Tom Yam Fried Rice. Too bad, the food here not reach our expectation. The fried rice texture is a bit wet. Although the environment is cosy and comfortable and the set lunch price is reasonable, but the food quality is not there. May be should try their ala carte.

Tea Garden re-invented another version of Hainanese Milk Tea by using the traditional Indian Black Tea, and mix with condensed milk and hard sugar. The Tea Garden Hainanese Milk Tea is a must-try, so you will see how the original and unique Hainanese flavour is passionately adhered to. They offer breakfast, local favourite, Chinese Cuisine & Western Cuisine. The environment is nice and comfortable. I have ordered Fried Rice with Smoked Duck. Basically, It is just a normal fried rice with Smoked Duck, nothing special and taste just normal.

Cantonese Style Kuey Teow OK Sep 17, 2013

This cafe is located in Mega Lanes (Bowling Centre) of Sunway Pyramid. Don't be surprise when I am putting review of this cafe. It is jus a simple cafe, with some tables outside of the kitchen area. It offers local Malaysian Food such as Chicken Rice, Fried Kuey Teow, Kuey Teow Soup...ect. I have ordered Cantonese Style Kuey Teow ( fried kuey teow with thick egg gravy). The ingredients include veggie, chicken, prawn, and fish paste. When they serve the dish, it looks nice from the outlook and it smells good as well. After take a sip of the gravy and a bite of the kuey teow, surprisingly the taste is tasty, but of course cannot fight the seafood restaurant outside. While eating, you can enjoy other people playing bowling. The sky juice here is free. Overall, I think the food here is nice and the price is really cheap for at location in shopping mall. So for those working around Sunway Pyramid and looking for cheap lunch, you can try out this cafe.

Green Tea Swiss Roll OK Sep 16, 2013   (Related Review)

Toast Box signature food of course is the Nanyang Kopi. It also serves other traditional favourites like peanut toast thick, Asian favourites such as mee siam, nasi lemak and soft-boiled eggs. South-east Asian coffee, the mainstay of the concept, is made the traditional way where it is 'pulled' to bring out the flavour. I have ordered Green Tea Swiss Roll. Actually nothing much to describe the taste, is just so normal, would recommend buy from bakery shop in stead.
