It does seem quite big. It's like salad + mash potatoes. So-so for me.

I'm head over heels for this! Or should I say head over tail. The salmon was really fresh and quite thick as well. I think I can finish a few plate of this by myself if we didn't order the other food.

My favourite! Mushrooms! The teppanyaki mushrooms has a really nice aroma to it and wow, I would like to know how to make this at home.

Best Salted Caramel Cheesecake! Smile Mar 08, 2014

Best!

Best!

The best Salted Caramel Cheesecake I've ever tasted! Everyone liked it very much too. Will be coming back for more.

The tiramisu was just so-so. Didn't like it very much.

And some other beverages. They have quite a lot of selections there. They even serve Peanut Butter latte/frap and Green Tea Frap which were really good. Frankly I think it's better than Starbucks which is a bit overrated. For coffee lovers, this is a must-go cafe!

Great deal for buffet! Smile Mar 08, 2014

There would be a piece of paper on your table teaching you how to eat shabu shabu the japanese way. First, crack a raw egg, then dip your cooked meat into it and then eat it. It didn't taste funny, but it did lowered down the temperature of the meat very quickly. I really like the chili sauce they serve there. Couldn't get enough of the combination of meat + raw egg + chili! Please remember to get your free serving of ice cream too after you have finished eating!

A friendly advice, do eat the shabu-shabu first before eating the sushi as it will make you feel very full and I think it is a waste to actually eat these instead of the meats! This is what my friend told me too, but it was too late because I already took some to our table.

A great deal for free-flow beef and lamb. Can't get enough of it! They also have a limited time for you to eat that is 2 hours which is actually more than enough for you to devour everything till you're full.

Aglio Olio Spaghetti.

Aglio Olio Spaghetti.

Garnished with generous amount of mushrooms and bacon bits. It was just above average for me but my boyfriend thinks otherwise. He couldn't stop singing praises for it.
Bacon-wrapped Asparagus

Bacon-wrapped Asparagus

Just as the name described it. Though it looks like an easy dish, it tasted wonderful.
Dave's Signature Caesar Salad

Dave's Signature Caesar Salad

Anchovy egg emulsion topped with grated parmesan, crispy bacon bits, croutons, boiled quail eggs & tomato confit
I love the freshness of the ingredients. Crunchy vege and croutons, yums!
Mushroom Soup

The consistency is very thick and just perfect. One of the best mushroom soup I've ever had. The bread was very crispy too! Don't you just hate it when restaurant serves hard and stale bread. Thank goodness it wasn't like that here.

Popular fine dining Smile Mar 20, 2014

Hunted for another popular place to dine. This place is popular on Trip Advisor and it is definitely categorize as a high-end dining bar. I felt like a hole was burning in my pocket but oh well. It's a vacation that is meant to be ravished and enjoyed.
It is located at the second floor and it's kinda small but the atmosphere is really good. They even played Joana Wang's song, my favourite!

Please forgive me if I didn't refer the food as to how they are named. I didn't take note of what we're ordering by the second day here. So I'll just refer them to how I remembered them.
We ordered fried crab meat from the snack menu and for the main course, we ordered steak(medium) and lamb shank. The steak made my tummy flew up to the sky (exaggerating much). The flavor was there and I didn't pick up any bloody scent. The tenderness is just perfect. On the other hand, I don't have any comment on the lamb shank. It wasn't good nor bad. Didn't know which to decide for the dessert, so we ordered the trio. Where we can taste all of them. Their caramel pudding is the killer! The cendol and cheesecake doesn't suit my taste. Even though I'm really big on cendol, this tasted kinda weird and not cendol-like for me.
This meal cost us a whooping RM160++ (if I remembered correctly.... or more).
