Chocolate Fondue Smile Sep 24, 2013   (Related Review)

After a hot pot of steamboat with spicy and empowering flavours, its nice to have some ice cream to cool yourself down with. The chocolate fondue in Hometown steamboat only costs RNM20 and has a wide variety of fruits, biscuits, marshmallow and of course ice cream. The ice cream comes in 2-3 flavour depending on their availability. The melted chocolate itself was pretty good as it didn't taste like cheap chocolate you can get from pasar malam.

Steamboat Set Smile Sep 24, 2013

Everyone loves steamboat once in a while, especially when the weather is cold after a rain! Furthermore, what is better than having spicy tom yom soup and herbal chicken in 1 pot? Hometown steamboat provides you with variety of freshly picked ingredients ranging from vegetables, seafood to chicken or meatballs. Most of the ingredients are consistently fresh so you don't have to worry so much. The soup was also really good. Price wise, its worthwhile.

Fish & Chips Smile Sep 24, 2013

This could be my 15th plate of Fish and Chips, if not more, this year. I really do enjoy fish and chips as it satisfy both my cravings for fish and french fries, not forgetting tartar sauce! The fish and chips served in Tony Romas were actually pretty good. The fish has a light batter crust along with its flakey and moist meat. The fries were cooked pretty evenly as well. The sauce they provide was sufficient for the fish but not for the fries. Price was really cheap as well.

Seasoned Jellyfish Smile Sep 22, 2013   (Related Review)

I remember the first time I tried the seasoned jellyfish, I mistaken it for seasoned sharksfin. However, after having my first bite, I fell in love with it ever since. The jellyfish was packed filled with flavour. Each strip of jellyfish had a really nice chew to it. Furthermore, it was a little bit spicy and I love spicy food. Overall, the seasoned jellyfish works fantastic as an appetizer.

Soft Shell Crab Smile Sep 22, 2013

One of the signature dish of a Japanese Restaurant, the Soft Shell Crab. It could possibly be one of the priciest dish on the menu in terms of portion to price ratio. The soft shell crab was really crisp on the outside whilst maintaning its softness and moisture inside. The soft shell crab also had a slightly salted skin. Overall, it was a very satisfying dish and I could not help but crave for more.
