Pearl Milk Tea Cry Aug 30, 2013   (Related Review)

The drink that got Taiwan's bubble tea famous. The all original Pearl Milk Tea. One of their signature drinks in the shop as well. However, it seemed pretty normal to me. The pearls were only slightly different from those you get at a cheap bubble tea shop. Its softer and much chewier. The tea itself reminds me of regular "Boh" tea mixed with milk. Overall, not a big fan of this particular bubble tea.

Ice Blended Honey Dew Cry Aug 30, 2013   (Related Review)

I really do love honey dew. In fact, I like any sort of melon. When Chatime placed the banner outside their shop showing that they have Honeydew, within seconds I ran there and order. Although I had a feeling that I was gonna be disappointed, I was right. The honeydew tasted extremely artificial and sweet. Its practically impossible to drink such a thing. Threw it away after drinking 20%. Utterly horrible.

Salmon wasn't that fresh nor flakey. Kinda felt it being too mushy. The cream sauce was a little tasteless. However, the spaghetti was well cooked. Overall, the spaghetti felt really light and healthy. I would expect something like that to be richer in flavour. Not to mention the price, some may say that RM25 is because of the salmon but personally, I do not find it worthwhile.

Another plate of bland and tasteless pasta. Although the spaghetti was cooked right, the flavours were dull and plain. Turkey bacon was just pure saltiness. There wasn't any "turkey-ness" left. I couldn't tell just what kind of bacon it is. The chicken was pretty normal, nothing very special. Additional leek was a good idea, but it just doesn't brings up the taste. Carbonara wasn't very rich; for me, its a good thing. Carbonara should be rich, but not too rich till a point where 1 bite is all you need. Overall, don't really like it.

Chee Chiong Fun Cry Aug 27, 2013   (Related Review)

This is by far the worst Chee Cheong Fun in my life. Its called the Scallop Cheong Fun.
Before ordering, I'd expect the Scallop to be big, the flour to be smooth and soft and
the sauce to be well seasoned or salted. Unfortunately, this was the biggest let down.
The scallop wasn't as big as I'd imagine, the texture of the dough (Chee Cheong Fun)
was horrible. It was so rough that it felt sandy in my mouth. The sauce was lacking in
flavour. It was as if the soup was just made out of water, soy sauce and salt. BAD!
Any decent Dim-Sum Restaurant would've served me with a better Cheong Fun than
this. Compare it to the Cheong Fun I ate in Hong Kong, I would rate this 1.3/10.
