Italian Tiramisu

This looks too pretty to be eaten. Smooth and rich tiramisu dessert, super irresistible. I've never been much of a fan of coffee, let alone tiramisu but this was heavenly. smile

German Pancakes

Hands down the best pancakes ever! I usually prefer waffles to pancakes because I've always thought that pancakes were soggy and filled with flour. However, once I tried this pancakes, I changed my mind. This was crispy with a slight sweetness to it. So fluffy and I'm sure there were heaps of eggs and milk in this!

Ravioli

They've got to definitely work on this. According to the chef, this was homemade but in my opinion, the skin was a tad bit hard and the filling was too soggy. In the end, this was a huge mess and the flavour was too strong that it overcome the true taste of a ravioli dish.

Pork Knuckle

Well, this was so-so. The skin was crispy but the meat wasn't as juicy as it should've been. A little too oily for me and maybe i wouldn't opt for this if i'm going there again.

Pork Ribs

This is definitely one of the biggest servings of pork ribs I tasted. The serving size is gigantic, but in terms of taste, this was mediocre. It was a little too tangy to my liking and not to mention sticky as well. There was a slight floury texture to the meat as well and it wasn't juicy as I expected it to be.

Berlin Steak

I don't get the name seriously, but taste wise, it's pretty good. It's pork and reminds me of the pork slices in the pork salad earlier on. The creamy spinach that was served along with this dish was really delightful!

Mixed German Sausage Platter

Tada! Here are the sausages that are practically irresistible to me smile There are a mixture of various types in here and generally, i think it's flavorful and was cooked to perfection. Definitely need sauerkraut and potato as the side order for this platter.

The sauerkraut and potato, just in case you guys were wondering smile

German Indulgence - Part 1 Smile Sep 28, 2013

German has always been my second favourite cuisine after Korean. As far as I'm aware, German sausages are the best out there and i could never resist a whole platter of it. Little did I know that German are not all about their famous sausages but there's really more to it than that. Read on to find out more guys!

Toasted Wholemeal Bread

I love bread and this one was toasted to crispy perfection. Maybe that was a little too dramatic but this had some buttery aroma to it, definitely an appetizer not to be missed smile

Prawn Salad

To be honest, I only got to taste the prawns at first. Well, yes, they were succulent, juicy and had that slight barbequed flavour to it. The salad was fresh but it's nothing more than a typical bowl of salad to me.

Pork Salad

This was a much better salad compared to the previous one. Presentation wise, this looks more appetizing. The serving of the pork slices itself is so generous and i liked how they had cheese slices in this as well. The rich flavour and saltiness of the cheese blended well with the bland salad.
