Nasi Bojari OK Jul 01, 2013

Nasi Bojari

Nasi Bojari

Nasi Bojari was served with assam prawns, chicken/beef rendang and a huge deep fried chicken drumstick. This is similar as the one we had in Madam kwan, but the quality in Sakura has reduced and I would still prefer the one in Madam Kwans. The rice is well cooked but the fried chicken is a bit dry. Asam prawn does not have big prawns. For parking, is not so favorable as there are bad traffic after work, during dinner hours.

This is a side order and well match with rice. Fried stuff may not be my favourite and that's why it is only okay for my tastebud, however, it might fit yours, so give it a try.Its well coated with seasonings which includes pepper and salt. Fried in golden brown and zest it with curry leaves. A nice tender chewable chicken meat. I would prefer it to be of more pepper and salt, it would taste better with rice. Best to go as snack for this one since its not that salty.

Chicken Katsu OK Jun 24, 2013

Chicken Katsu by Ma Maison, its fried in very golden brown in outlook, crisp on the outside, not so thick on the flour and flavouring. The meat is tender to chew at however, I like strong flavor, which is for me okay. Looking at the price, a set cost RM23.90 and it would be better. The salad portion is a lot and with rice, definitely a fulfilling meal. Miso soup is delicious with seaweed and the prickles are to complement the nice meal.

Nachos as Snack OK Jun 24, 2013

Chili as always need to queue. But better than the queue in KLCC. tongue

We decided to order nachos for snack to wait for others in the gang to arrive for gathering. It is served in big plate, as well as the quantity. Nacho's is great to snack and dazzled with seasoning and salt. Here, they offers dippers. Well, the sauce does taste similar to the one in nando, but sweeter and thicker.

HUngry for char siew lunch

HUngry for char siew lunch

lolbowlbowl

Seri Kembangan is famous for its traffic, but also with the food around the area. Wing Heong is one of them and they serve a lot of varieties, one of which char siew Rice. The double boiled soup is an addition order for lunch. Char siew taste mild sweet and good, rice is nice in texture but if the outlook is better is more tempting. Ie. The rice to be long and in one, as now the rice is a bit split up, and look soft. Overall, taste good for hungry lunch; char siew portion to get better. ;P
