Just like all Tong Pak Fu outlets, the black sesame glutinous rice is my well sought after for a chewy crunchy snack. Chewy due to the skin texture, while the peanuts blended with black sesame dippings are a little crunchy that is ideal after main meal desserts. The inner balls is filled with black sesame paste and taste sweet. The serving is not big thus by sharing with other desserts with another person is just nice.

Tong Pak fu always have a lot of nice desserts for the sweet tooth. My favourite is the Chilled Mango creamy Sago with Pamelo. This is not very filling and the portion is just nice for 1 person. I love pamelo and the mango that goes along with it makes the desserts sweet, a tint of sour sweet pamelo. The sago is chewable, and the cream is filling. My all time favourite.

Sweet Sour Garoupa Smile Jul 17, 2013   (Related Review)

The Garoupa is medium sized and fried in a high heat oil. The texture is very crunchy and tasty, well marinated and floured. The fish is fresh and sweet. A nice combination with sweet sour sauce as dipping and there is no soil smell. This dish is aromatic and even the fish stomach area is fried to "Kruk Kruk", and no escape. A good serving for 4 person. The service of this restaurant is good, and that give rise to the patrons for dinner. Reasonable waiting time for the dish to arrive.

Lemon & Salad Chicken

Lemon & Salad Chicken

lollol

This portion of this half lemon half salad dish is well given a credit. One plate of chicken with two different taste is great for picky and adventurous eaters. lol The chicken is fried perfectly in golden brown, the flour I would prefer it to be lesser, but its indeed very crunchy and nice to eat. Lemon portion is my favourite as its a little sweet sour. While salad chicken, there is a lot of fruits, but need to pump on the salad dressings.

Took this as appetizer but the serving is big if you happen not to share. Nicely baked big succulent juicy prawn, with nice garden salad. Good portion of lettuce, onions, tomatoes and the vegetables are fresh and crisp. The tar tar mayonnaise taste sauce is sweet and right for dipping's with the salad. Presentation of food is nice; good and appetizing before the main meal is served.
