Caesar salad Smile Dec 17, 2013   (Related Review)

The concept of V1 is apparently all about sports cars. They claimed to be the first sports car theme restaurant with unique dining atmosphere. There isn’t anything about cars you can’t think of that is used as decors and their theme. There are those racing car seats, car honk to get the attention of their crews, there is even an actual Ferrari car model in and outside the shop. There are traffic lights as decors and some medals and trophies from car races. The toilet is pretty cool itself, with wheels to replace the tap and stuff. It was quite an eye opening, and that is what you call a themed restaurant.

THeir Caesar salad was decent, and absolutely beautifully plated to serve. Something worth admiration and of course I do appreciate the effort.

Cranberry Cheese Bun Smile Dec 17, 2013   (Related Review)

The cranberry cheese bun is one of my all time favourite. It was really awesome so I’d really recommend it. This is the kind that will have you licking your lips in anticipation for the second bite. Simply toothsome! The soft cream cheese with the tanginess of cranberry is superb combination.

Tuna Oyaki Smile Dec 17, 2013   (Related Review)

Oyaki is this Japanese stuffed bun and here in the loaf, they have a wide selection of oyaki. I tried the tuna oyaki, which tasted great. Tuna is a little moist wrapped inside, and flavourful. On the outside the bun is also soft. Because the size is a little small, so you might need to buy more than one. Except, it is a little pricy for something this size. The tuna oyaki sells ar RM 2.90 each.

Comfy layout for the quick bite Smile Dec 17, 2013

The loaf bakery and bistro in Puchong is at the entrance of the new wing of the IOI mall. The mall which fantastically survived for years and still growing, thanks to the local residences within Puchong . I was visiting a relative and of course the meeting point is the IOI mall.

While waiting, of course I checked out the food. I wasn’t too hungry so I didn’t order much. The Choco kiki peppermint was interesting. A good mix of choco and mint. As well as the buttery layers of puff dough to contribute slight milkiness and salty flavour. Quite an interesting combo.

Caramel cream and choco banana Smile Dec 17, 2013

Categories : Western variety | Sweets/Snack | Bakery / Cake / Kuih

When the Loaf opens in Sunway pyramid, I am obviously pleased and happy about it. Not that there are no other bakery around, but one that has so many choices and at the same time delicious, and with some nice layout for patrons and shoppers to sit and have that quick meal is just great. The seat layouts were in between the walkway in the mall but it was places in such there is some privacy if not completely all. But the fact that most people usually take breads and coffee or tea in between meals, makes it alright.

I tried the caramel cream at RM 1.80 choco banana at RM 1.90. Choco banana is definately tastier given the fragrant of the banana, as well as the bitter sweetness of the chocolate. Bun was freshly baked daily, so it was soft and slight saltiness compliments the sweetness perfectly.
