Nyonya Steam Fish Smile Dec 18, 2013   (Related Review)

The famous Nyonya Steam Fish is one of their signature dish. The use of chili and spices mixes well and was great in flavour. It is this fresh fish with tangy sweet and spicy broth which instantly perked up the taste bud and would keep you eating nonstop.

Ginseng chicken soup Smile Dec 18, 2013

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Seafood

Lim Tian Puan is one of the oldest Chinese Restaurant around in Melaka Town. In 2012, they got themselves a bigger and better space which accommodates almost tem times more than the old one. Located along Jalan Tun Sri Lanang there is no way you could miss the restaurant as there are two LED horses greeting you from by the roadside at the entrance. I have no idea what’s with the horse but I am guessing it might probably be some symbol which represent the restaurant.

Anyways, their dishes are always pretty good for the locals should they decided to eat out. From simple home cook style dishes, to some of those exquisite Chinese dish with expensive ingredients Lim Tian Puan (LTP) serves it all. On special occasions, the Chinese love eating sharks fin. Of course we do not want to encourage that, and here at the LTP, ginseng chicken soup replaces the sharks fin soup. With an entire chicken in each pot, the flavour is immense.

The triplets Smile Dec 18, 2013   (Related Review)

Categories : Western variety | Sweets/Snack | Bakery / Cake / Kuih

The choices of varieties are so wide sometimes it is so difficult to make the right choice when looking at all the pretty desserts. The safest option is the chocolate flavoured pastry. The triplets (choco cream puffs) sells at Rm 3.90 and the cream filling is generously rich. The fillings are generous, so it is sufficient to have just three at a go.

Yam rice Smile Dec 18, 2013   (Related Review)

Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Porridge

Yam rice is beautifully fused with aroma of yam and when cooking yam with rice, yam would coat the rice grain making the rice slightly more textured and delicious. I feel the rice portion is a little small but eating with the dishes which rotates on daily basis would be good.

Pumpkin with minced pork Smile Dec 18, 2013
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Chinese | Restaurant | Porridge

Pumpkin with minced pork is tasty and great to go with rice or porridge. I like having this with porridge and most dishes here are slightly a little salty so you’ll probably end up having more porridge or rice. But pumpkin itself is slightly sweet so the saltiness only comes from the minced pork.
