Okay i enjoyed my last semester break in malacca and i heard that this restaurant is one of the must go restauran in the town. So here i am. It is a self service restaurant. It is located at jonker street, malacca town. Okay, Here i start my introduction of food
I ordered a bowl of baba cendol:
Baba cendol
A bowl of baba laksa:
Baba laksa
And a plate of rendang chicken mee:
Rendang chicken mee
The baba cendol have not much ingredient inside actually. Just some cendol and the ice with brown sugar. I think it os too sweet for me. One bowl of this cost me rm4.50.
The baba laksa is okay. Not really spicy and sour like how it looks. The glass noodle in the laksa is good. Very Q. They served it with few pieces of 'fu zhu'. It is crunchy and when mixed together with the laksa soup makes it tastes even better. One bowl of laksa cost me around rm6.00. It is worth to try as this is one of the symbolic food in the town.
The rendang chicken noodle is too spicy for me. The curry is spicy but it tastes quite good actually. The serving portion is nice for a starving man. The rendang chicken tastes spicy too. But the meat is soft. One plate of this cost around rm6.00 too.
The environment of the restaurant looks like this
Yeah. Historical.
They hang many painting, money decoration, and papers about historical man. The decoration of the restaurant is unique, it makes us feel like we have been to the 70's.
overall, it is a good experience too. Worth to try it out. Just give it a try when you are here in malacca. .
